𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧. 💚

Colleagues from our Georgetown and Lethem offices came together for a two-day in-person gathering at our Georgetown office on 25–26 June 2026. These moments don't happen often, which makes them especially meaningful. They give us time to reconnect, learn from one another, celebrate what we've accomplished together, and strengthen the relationships that support our work every day.

"Thriving Through Change" Conversations focused on project delivery and priorities for the year ahead. Using a 'Thriving Through Change' approach, we reflected on the lessons and achievements of FY26 while preparing for the opportunities that FY27 will bring.

We also took time to recognize colleagues whose years of dedicated service have helped shape Conservation International Guyana:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 (AIWF) has won the #𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗢𝘂𝗿𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 of the Green Skills Award by the European Commission — selected from more than 400 initiatives worldwide.

This award belongs to the 115 Indigenous women fellows who, from their communities across the Amazon, lead projects protecting territories, preserving ancestral knowledge, and building futures rooted in their own vision.

We are honored to walk alongside them.
