Highlights from the Environmental Club Coordinators Connect!

A productive day of connection, knowledge-sharing, and preparation as environmental club coordinators came together to learn more about environmental monitoring apps and devices, exchange insights, and prepare for upcoming club activities.

The EMC Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the ExxonMobil Foundation for its valued support of the E-STEM Program, which has enabled meaningful collaboration with environmental clubs across Guyana’s coastal communities.

Through this initiative, we are empowering young people to develop greater awareness of environmental issues, embrace STEM, and become active stewards of Guyana’s environment.

Mr. Shyam Nokta, Founder and Director of the EMC Foundation, shared an inspiring message with Environmental Club Coordinators at the Coordinators Connect.

He highlighted the privilege coordinators have in working with the next generation of leaders, while emphasising the important role young people play in leadership and in shaping a more sustainable and responsible future.

The EMC Foundation hosted its third Environmental Club Coordinators Connect, bringing together Environmental Club Coordinators from Regions 1–6 for a day of connecting, planning, celebrating, and training.

A heartfelt thank you to the ExxonMobil Foundation for supporting the ESTEM Program and helping us create opportunities for young Guyanese to learn, lead, and make a positive impact on the environment.
