And that’s a wrap on this year’s Rotary District 7030 Conference in St. Lucia! Team Demerara had a fantastic time over the last few days meeting old friends and making new ones! We thoroughly enjoyed the days of interesting presentations (and the fellowship nights as well) and were very proud that our work has been recognized at the District level 🎉🎉

In February, 31 students from the West Demerara Secondary School completed RI/IEP Positive Peace course, joining the ranks of the dozens of other students from various schools throughout the country who were able to do the same through our Club over the last few years.

Through our multifaceted Peace Programme, Peace poles are also installed in the compounds of participating schools to remind students of what they’ve learned.

The Rotary Positive Peace Academy has been a valuable resource in our work and we are grateful to all those who have participated in this initiative!
