TOG 2026 Race Update:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

2026 Tour of Guam Postponed

After multiple discussions with our key community partners, the Guam Cycling Federation has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2026 Tour of Guam for a second time.

Many of our essential partners are currently leading and supporting post-typhoon recovery efforts throughout the island and, understandably, will not be available to assist with race-day operations. As the Tour of Guam relies heavily on the support of the Guam Police Department and the island's mayors' offices to provide a safe event for participants, this was the only responsible decision to ensure the safety of our riders, volunteers, and the community.

While we share in the disappointment of another postponement, we fully support our community partners as they continue their important recovery efforts. Their commitment to serving our island during this time is greatly appreciated.

The Guam Cycling Federation will begin working immediately to identify a new race date and will announce it as soon as possible.

We sincerely thank our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and the cycling community for your continued patience, understanding, and unwavering support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2026 Tour of Guam when it is safe to do so.

Håfa Adai, Cyclists!

We know many of you have been reaching out to ask whether the 2026 Tour of Guam will still take place next Sunday, July 19. We completely understand the anticipation and excitement surrounding the event, especially for those who may be traveling to Guam to participate.

At this time, we are awaiting confirmation from our community partners regarding their ability to support the event. As you can imagine, the Guam Police Department, the mayors' offices, and many of our other partners remain focused on ongoing typhoon recovery efforts, and we are taking those circumstances into careful consideration.

As many of you know, the Tour of Guam has already been rescheduled once from its original April 26 date due to Supertyphoon Sinlaku. We are committed to making the best decision for our riders, volunteers, community partners, and our island.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through this process. We will provide an update as soon as we receive confirmation from our community partners and are able to make a final decision.

Thank you, and we hope to see you all soon.
