Guma’ Mami Inc., a nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to providing support and services to individuals with disabilities on Guam, is hosting a Halloween carnival and trick-or-trunk on Friday.

Check out the video recording of one of our activities - imPERFECTION: Poetry and Dance - held on May 9 & 10, 2025 at the Central Community Arts Hall at the Sinajana Mayor's Office. The showcase was the culmination of a series of poetry workshop conducted by Christina Quichocho and hosted by Guma Mami for adults with disabilities, from November 2024 to January 2025. Kudos to the National Endowment for Arts, Guam Council on Arts and Humanities Agency, and the Office of the Governor for the support, and the volunteers for their awesome performance and co-presentation along side some of the poets with disabilities 👏👏👏

Residents of our Community Homes dress in red, white, and blue in celebration of this Memorial Day!

In addition to honoring the service and sacrifices of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in military service to ensure our freedom, peace, and prosperity, let's also remember and support those who have been wounded or disabled in service. Many veterans, both physically and psychologically, return from service with disabilities that require ongoing support and care.
