Do you remember the names of these beautiful girls? From left to right: Angelita, Yolanda, Dayana, Adriana, and Estefanía. We took this photograph last Sunday at church Bueno Es Dios as we celebrated Jesus' resurrection together.

It is worth mentioning that Angelita, Yolanda, and Estefanía are no longer on the Rocsana's Hope program since they now have their own independent lives, but we remain in communication and maintain a close relationship.

We are filled with gratitude to God knowing that each of these girls has received help from Rocsana's Hope and that we have planted good seeds in their minds and hearts to help them move forward. Each of them knows that loving God above all else is the most important thing, and everything else will follow.

And of course, we also give thanks to God for each and every one of you who have supported each of these girls who are currently here, those who have already been with us, and those who will come.

A few days ago it was Dayana's birthday and of course, as we usually do, we celebrated in a big way. We all spent the day together and Dayana chose one of her favorite foods for lunch, finishing with a delicious cake.

We always, always thank God for giving us the opportunity to bless our girls by giving them the chance to improve themselves, but more than that, so they know they have a family that loves them.

Thank you for your unconditional support in prayer for each of our girls.

Adriana has formally begun her academic and technical studies. She will finish high school this year and has started her two-year technical training to become an international chef.

Adriana has successfully adapted to our program since arriving at Rocsana's Hope three months ago. What's special about her is that she completed all her studies remotely and with tutoring; she didn't attend any school, but rather did everything with guidance and support from the orphanage's teachers. Now she must adapt to her academic and technical studies in person; that is, she travels to her places of study from Monday to Saturday, but as I said, she has done very well and we are confident that she will continue to do so.

Thank you all for holding Rocsana's Hope in your hearts and keeping us in your prayers.

Do you remember Fabiana? This lovely young woman was in our program for a little over a year in 2019. Fabiana visited us yesterday and even had lunch with us. It's wonderful that the women, even after completing our program and becoming independent, remain in contact with us. This shows that we've planted a good seed in their hearts, and they also demonstrate how grateful they are for the support we gave them then and even continue to give them in some way, since they always ask for advice when making decisions.

It should also be clarified that not all the girls who have been on our program still keep in touch with us, but several of them do, and it's wonderful that they do.

Tomorrow we'll also be visited by a young woman who was with us a few years ago. She'll be visiting with her husband and their beautiful baby. We'll share more information about her and her family very soon.

Today we welcome Luz Adriana to our home to begin the program. There is a long road ahead, but we know that, as in all cases, God will go before us, opening the way for Luz Adriana to have everything she needs to succeed.

Thank you all for your prayers.

A few days ago it was Angelita's birthday, as is our custom and we do it with every girl who has a birthday, we asked Angelita how she wanted to enjoy her birthday and she told us that she wanted to eat some delicious Mexican tacos, so that's what we did and of course the delicious cake could not be missing.

We always, always thank God for allowing us not only to know and help our precious daughters, but also for making these special dates unique and different for them.

A few days ago, an orphanage in the western part of the country, about four hours from the city, presented Luz's case to us, and we agreed to interview her. So, they came a few days ago and introduced us to Luz, a beautiful young woman who needs support to move forward and have development opportunities as an adult.

Luz is a girl who has been in orphanages since she was 3 months old. Thankfully, she found help in the orphanages where she has lived. These orphanages have given her the tools to train and study. However, she has reached adulthood and needs new support and opportunities to face life and prepare for her independent life.

We have prayed to God for guidance and wisdom and have decided to accept Luz into our program. This makes us truly happy and grateful for the opportunity to support Luz in any way she needs. Luz will be coming to Rocsana's Hope in a few days to join this family.

Help us pray that Luz adjusts quickly and that God will provide for everything Luz and our girls need.

A few days ago, Dayana took a step of faith and obedience to God: she was baptized in water.

As a ministry and a family, we thank God for the opportunity to instruct our girls in these decisions. A few months ago, Dayana was hesitant to make this decision, but after receiving teachings about baptism for several weeks, she was sure she wanted to do it, and she did.

Thank you for your prayers for our girls; they are certainly a great help.

Rocsana’s Hope is thrilled to announce the addition of Christina Gulotta to the staff of Rocsana’s Hope. Christina will be stepping into the role of Associate Director of the ministry. She will begin her tenure with us immediately.

Christina is going to bring a fresh and renewed perspecitve in helping to lead and direct Rocsana’s Hope. She will be a part of helping us to refocus on not just the original vision but also expand on it and identify other areas of need that have not yet been considered and how we might expand our reach and cast a wider net into other related areas of need for the young women that we exist to help.

We will be sharing much more about Christina herself in subsequent posts here on FB and how God has prepared her to step into this role.

Please pray for her that God will help her to adjust to her role and to guide all of our hearts to make the best possible decisions as we look to the future of Rocsana’s Hope.
So much more to come.
