La Academia Comunitaria de Arte de San Juan del Obispo da formación artística a menores de edad de la aldea San Juan del Obispo y comunidades aledañas. Aunque se especializa en marimba, también se dan clases de violín, dibujo y pintura. Se aspira a dar clases de otros instrumentos de cuerda y de teatro comunitario. Fundada en 1962, la Biblioteca José Luis de León Díaz, Luis de Lión dispone de mat
erial para investigación bibliográfica y fomenta la lectura y diferentes expresiones artísticas. Se ofrece asesoría para investigaciones, se juegan juegos didácticos, y semanalmente se leen cuentos. La Casa Museo toma como eje la vida de Luis de Lión para dar a conocer a las nuevas generaciones el contexto histórico en el cual fue desaparecido este artista, el cual se caracterizó por la intolerancia a la creatividad y a la inteligencia. El espacio ha sido enriquecido con aportes de habitantes de la comunidad, para rescatar la peculiar historia de esta aldea, una de las primeras fundadas por los españoles tras la invasión a estas tierras. The Community Art Academy of San Juan del Obispo gives artistic training to the young people of the village of San Juan del Obispo and the surrounding communities. Although the academy specializes in marimba, it also has classes in violin, drawing, and painting. In the future, it hopes to offer classes in other stringed instruments and community theater. Founded in 1962, the José Luis de León Díaz, Luis de Lión Library dispenses research material and encourages reading and other artistic expressions. It offers bibliographical books for use inside the library and to take home. They offer research consultancy, educational games and they have a weekly story time. The House Museum takes the life of Luis de Lión as its axis in order to introduce to new generations the historical context in which Luis de Lión disappeared, the context in which he characterized himself in the midst of intolerance toward creativity and intelligence. The space has been enriched by contributions of the community's inhabitants, in order to rescue the particular history of San Juan del Obispo, one of the first villages founded by the Spanish during their invasion into the Americas.
