Established in 2021 the founders, Rylee Russell and Ingrid Bol, felt the call to start a ministry in the mountains of Guatemala.

What a beautiful month it has been! 💚 May was filled with learning, laughter, growth, friendship, and countless reminders of God’s faithfulness. From classroom activities and special treats to playtime and meaningful connections, every moment was an opportunity to share love and hope.

We are so grateful for everyone who supports, prays for, and walks alongside this mission. Together, we are making a lasting impact in the lives of children and families in the mountains. ⛰️❤️

I can’t stop thinking about the story Rylee shared with me on FaceTime — about a baby girl in Guatemala, just 6 months old, weighing only what my one-month-old does now. My baby is 12 pounds, healthy and growing, and yet somewhere another mother is praying her little one simply makes it through the night.

As a mom, my heart breaks for her. I can only imagine the fear, the worry, the helplessness she must feel. No mother should ever have to watch her child suffer because of a lack of food, clean water, medical care, or even the knowledge and education that could help her care for her baby.

That’s why Mountaintop Promises’ mission and efforts matter. It’s about giving hope — not just supplies, but the chance for a mother to see her baby thrive.
