Celebrating God’s Greatness in La Limonada 🙌🏼💗!

Last week, we were blessed to welcome a team from Istrouma Baptist Church to serve alongside us at the Academies for Life! They shared God’s Word with the ‘children, made crafts, played games, and visited families to listen and pray with them🙏🏼. On Wednesday, the team also blessed our staff with thoughtful gifts and a special meal, bringing so much joy to our team!

Thank you, Terry, Kelle, Courtney, David, Kelley, John, and Dwanna, for coming with hearts ready to serve! And a special thank you to Taty, Allan, Abby, and Maybelin for your dedication and energy as translators. We are so grateful for each of you ❤️!

We are deeply grateful to Istrouma Baptist Church for faithfully partnering with us for so many years through donations, child sponsorships, and annual mission teams. Your continued support is a beautiful reminder of how God brings His people together to accomplish His work!

We are thankful to witness God at work in La Limonada, touching hearts, strengthening families, and encouraging those who serve ✨.

Is your church or ministry looking for an opportunity to serve? Come and see what God is doing in La Limonada! We would love to welcome you and explore how we can serve Him together.

“I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭135‬:‭5‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Celebrating the Gift of Every Child 💛🎉!!

Children’s Day is one of the most anticipated celebrations at our Academies🥳! This year, we enjoyed a day filled with joy, surprises, and, above all, reminders of the love of Jesus.

Our team lovingly prepared every detail, from beautiful decorations and special characters to delicious pizza, desserts, candy, and wonderful surprises 🍕🍰🎁 ! But beyond all the fun, the most important part was sharing a message that points our children to Jesus, the One who gives our lives purpose and lasting hope.

At Lima and Naranja Academies, the children learned about persevering in the race of faith with Jesus until the very end. At Toronja Academy, they were reminded of a beautiful truth: Jesus is our faithful friend!

We thank God for each of our children, for the love and dedication our team pours into making them feel seen, loved, and special, and for every person who donated to make this celebration possible. Your generosity helped make this day even more meaningful 🙏💛!

Our prayer is that each child will continue to grow, discover how deeply Jesus loves them, and learn to walk with Him every day. Because beyond the celebration, our greatest desire is for every child to know Christ and find their hope in Him 🙏🏼.

“So we have many people of faith around us. Their lives tell us what faith means. So let us run the race that is before us and never give up. We should remove from our lives anything that would get in the way. And we should remove the sin that so easily catches us. Let us look only to Jesus. He is the one who began our faith, and he makes our faith perfect. Jesus suffered death on the cross. But he accepted the shame of the cross as if it were nothing. He did this because of the joy that God put before him. And now he is sitting at the right side of God’s throne.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭ICB‬‬

We were so blessed to welcome our friends from Ninth Street Christian Church, who came to Guatemala alongside our partners at Life of Hope.

At Naranja Academy, the team served through a medical clinic, caring for our children and families and bringing medical attention to our community 🩺❤️.

At Toronja Academy, they shared a joyful day with the children, filled with songs, laughter, and fun games 🎶🎉!

We are deeply grateful for their willingness to serve God and for the love they poured into our children. Thank you for being a blessing to our program and community.

Celebrating Our Beloved Guatemala 🇬🇹🩵!!

What a joyful time celebrating Guatemala’s Independence Day at our Academies 🎉!

Our children enjoyed civic activities, traditional Guatemalan snacks, and a joyful walk through the community. Seeing their smiles as they walked through the streets was a beautiful reminder of how much joy these little ones bring to their families and neighbors 💙.

We give thanks to God for our beloved Guatemala, our blessed land. We are grateful for His goodness, faithfulness, and mercy that are new every morning 🙏🏻.

As we celebrate our country, we pray that God would grant wisdom to our leaders and to every Guatemalan. May hearts across our nation come to know God and experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ ♥️.

Our greatest desire is to see lives transformed by Jesus, one heart at a time ♥️🙏🏼.

May Guatemala be a nation where hearts are turned to God, families are strengthened, and His name is glorified.

Happy Independence Day, Guatemala!
¡Que viva Guatemala 🩵🤍🩵🇬🇹!

“Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own.” Psalms‬ ‭33‬:‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬
