Un nuevo capítulo comienza con una semana de aprendizaje, preparación y nuevos retos. 💙

Antes de iniciar su curso de Gastronomía Comercial, las y los participantes de Inclusión Laboral compartieron una semana de Bootcamp en la que pudieron fortalecer herramientas para su camino hacia el mundo laboral.

Durante estos días conversamos sobre finanzas, creación de CV, entrevistas de trabajo, inteligencia emocional, derechos humanos, violencia de género y otras habilidades que pueden acompañarles tanto dentro como fuera del espacio de trabajo.

Ahora llega el momento de dar el siguiente paso: comenzar su curso de Gastronomía Comercial, como parte de nuestra primera cohorte mixta.

A cada persona que fue parte de este proceso, le deseamos lo mejor en esta nueva etapa. ¡Que este sea el inicio de muchos aprendizajes, oportunidades y nuevos caminos! 🌱✨

A new chapter begins with a week of learning, preparation, and new challenges. 💙

Before starting their Commercial Culinary Arts course, participants in our Workforce Development program spent a week in our Bootcamp, strengthening tools and their skills for their journey into the workforce.

Throughout the week, we discussed finances, resume writing, job interviews, emotional intelligence, human rights, gender-based violence, and other skills that can support them both inside and outside the workplace.

Now, it’s time to take the next step: beginning their Commercial Culinary Arts course as part of our first mixed-gender cohort.
To everyone who was part of this process, we wish you all the best in this new chapter. May this be the beginning of many new learnings, opportunities, and paths ahead! 🌱✨

Esta semana, en Creamos, hablamos de un tema que muchas veces permanece en silencio: la prevención del suicidio. 💛

En el programa de Apoyo Emocional conversamos sobre el tema desde la escucha, la empatía y la importancia de hablar sin estigma. Además colocamos listones amarillos con mensajes que nos recuerdan que somos una comunidad que puede escuchar, acompañar y estar presente.

En el Día Mundial para la Prevención del Suicidio recordamos que no siempre tenemos que estar bien, y que pedir ayuda también es una forma de cuidarnos.

This week at Creamos, we talked about a topic that often remains unspoken: su***de prevention. 💛

Through our Emotional Support program, we opened a space to talk about su***de with empathy, active listening, and without stigma.

We also placed yellow ribbons throughout Creamos, each carrying messages that remind us that we are a community—one that can listen, support, and be there for one another.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, we remember that we don’t always have to be okay, and that asking for help is also a way of caring for ourselves.

Let’s continue creating spaces where we can talk about what we feel openly and without fear. 💛

¡Así vivimos nuestra kermés comunitaria! 🎡✨

Entre carreras de encostalados, lotería, trivia, pesca, distintos juegos y mucha comida típica deliciosa como los elotes locos, compartimos una tarde llena de sonrisas y convivencia. Más allá de la diversión, este espacio permitió fortalecer los lazos entre nuestra comunidad y acercar a más personas a conocer los programas, talleres, certificaciones y cursos que Creamos ofrece.

Gracias a todas las personas que participaron e hicieron de este día una celebración para compartir, aprender y seguir creciendo juntxs. 💙

From sack races, bingo, trivia, fishing games, and prizes, to delicious Guatemalan favorites like elotes locos, the event created an opportunity to strengthen community relationships while introducing families to Creamos' programs, workshops, certifications, and courses.

En este Día del Padre queremos reconocer a todos los papás que trabajan cada día por construir un mejor futuro para sus familias. 💙

Celebramos a quienes han decidido retomar sus estudios, obtener certificaciones y desarrollar nuevas habilidades para acceder a empleos dignos y mejorar su calidad de vida.

También a quienes cuidan, acompañan y generan cambios positivos en sus hogares y comunidades. Su esfuerzo, dedicación y compromiso son una inspiración para las nuevas generaciones.

A veces, lo más valiente que una persona puede hacer es seguir soñando con un mejor futuro, incluso cuando ha enfrentado rechazo, discriminación o espacios donde no se ha sentido bienvenide.

En Creamos, el 1% de lxs participantes pertenecen a la comunidad LGBTQI+. Detrás de ese número hay personas que, como todas, quieren aprender, encontrar oportunidades, alcanzar sus metas y construir una vida digna. 🌈✨

Por eso creemos que los espacios seguros importan. Porque nadie debería sentir miedo de ser quien es mientras persigue sus sueños. Cada persona merece ser escuchada, respetada y acompañada en su camino de aprendizaje y crecimiento.

En este Mes del Orgullo, celebramos la diversidad de nuestra comunidad y renovamos nuestro compromiso de seguir construyendo un lugar donde todas las personas puedan aprender, crecer y pertenecer.

Porque un futuro mejor solo es posible cuando todas las personas tienen un lugar en él. 🏳‍🌈

Sometimes, the bravest thing a person can do is continue dreaming of a better future, even after experiencing rejection, discrimination, or spaces where they did not feel welcomed.

At Creamos, 1% of our participants identify as part of the LGBTQI+ community. Behind that number are people who, like everyone else, want to learn, find opportunities, achieve their goals, and build a life of dignity. 🌈✨

That is why safe spaces matter. Because no one should have to be afraid of being who they are while pursuing their dreams. Every person deserves to be heard, respected, and supported on their journey of learning and growth.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the diversity of our community and renew our commitment to continuing to build a place where everyone can learn, grow, and belong.

En el Día Internacional del Medio Ambiente, nos reunimos como comunidad para honrar a la Madre Tierra y reflexionar sobre nuestra responsabilidad compartida de cuidarla. 🌱

Nuestro trabajo se desarrolla en comunidades que históricamente han sido impactadas por la acumulación y el manejo inadecuado de los desechos. Esta realidad afecta directamente la salud, la calidad de vida y las oportunidades de quienes habitan las zonas.

Por eso, para Creamos, hablar de educación, bienestar y oportunidades también significa hablar del derecho a un entorno saludable. Creemos que la dignidad humana y la dignidad del ecosistema están profundamente conectadas. Hoy conmemoramos este día reafirmando nuestro compromiso con futuros donde las personas y el medio ambiente puedan prosperar juntxs. Porque cuidar nuestra tierra es también cuidar a nuestras comunidades. 💚🌎

That is why, at Creamos, conversations about education, well-being, and opportunity also include the right to a healthy environment. We believe that human dignity and the dignity of our ecosystems are deeply connected.

Today, we commemorate this day by reaffirming our commitment to a future where people and the environment can thrive together. Because caring for our planet also means caring for our communities. 💚🌎
