Pastor Frank Vitello founded the ministry to reach out to the lost people of Guatemala and to establish a strong, Bible-believing local church to train and equip the people of Guatemala to reach their nation for Jesus Christ. Pastor Frank Vitello and Kerry Lanthier travel with a team to Guatemala twice a year bringing fresh supplies. The team ministers to the locals through services and outreaches as well as continues the construction of the mission house and other facilities at Arise Ministries Guatemala. People from Canada and the US have joined the team and traveled to Guatemala to ministered with Arise Ministries Guatemala. Arise Ministries Guatemala has been reaching out to the families living in the garbage dumps in Guatemala City. The team brings sandwiches and other supplies to hand out to the hundreds of men, women and children residing there. Their acts of kindness demonstrate the love of God and literally shine the light of Jesus in the darkness.
