🎥On World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, we celebrate the sounds and images that preserve our collective memory and connect generations.

At Qualco Foundation, we are proud to support Ινστιτούτο Ελληνικής Μουσικής Κληρονομιάς, our core initiative dedicated to Greek music. Through the preservation, documentation, research and promotion of Greece’s rich musical heritage, IEMK helps ensure that this invaluable legacy remains accessible, relevant and alive for generations to come.

The challenges young people face are constantly evolving, and so must the way we listen and respond. Qualco Foundation supported BECOMING | The Youth Forum, a new initiative by Θάλπος-Ψυχική Υγεία, held at the Athens Conservatoire on 22 September.

Bringing young people together with experts and creators, the forum opened a participatory dialogue on the issues shaping young people’s everyday lives.

We were glad to contribute to an initiative that gives the new generation the space to speak and be heard.

We were delighted to present the New Cretan Quartet at the National Garden for our first concert as part of the European MERITAcubed initiative! 🎶

On 8 October, works by Theodorakis, Skalkottas, Dvořák, Borodin, Schubert and Ravel filled this beautiful setting in the heart of Athens, bringing chamber music, cultural heritage and emerging talent together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a memorable afternoon of music!

Healing is about more than treating an illness. On World Mental Health Day, we are reminded that healing is about more than treating an illness. For children and adolescents who have experienced cancer, the end of treatment can mark the beginning of a new and often challenging chapter — rebuilding confidence and finding a new sense of everyday life.

This is the focus of “My Soul”, the psychosocial support programme created by Karkinaki, and supported by Qualco Foundatiοn since 2023, which provides free support to children, youth and their families as they navigate life after childhood cancer. “My Soul” was recently featured across four Greek media outlets — Newsbeast Gr, Ελεύθερος Τύπος, iEidiseis.gr and SofokleousIn.GR.

🐢World Animal Day is a reminder that every species has a vital place in our shared world. Today, we turn our attention to the sea turtles of the Mediterranean and the people working hard to protect them.

Qualco Foundation proudly supports ΑΡΧΕΛΩΝ-Archelon, the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece as a Gold Partner of the 8th Mediterranean Conference on Marine Turtles, helping create space for knowledge-sharing and collaboration around the protection of marine turtles and their habitats.
