✨ Youth Exchange recap: «Digital Citizens in Action: Co-creating » ✨

Our team is back from a week full of ideas, exchanged views, and new friendships! 🇬🇷🇪🇺

Young people from different European countries came together to discuss digital citizenship, digital literacy, and safe online engagement, and worked together to prepare activities for European Digital Citizenship Education Week 2026. 💻🌍

🌍 νέα ευκαιρία για νέους από την Ελλάδα!

Το «Tomatoes – Back to Nature» είναι ένα Erasmus+ πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγής νέων που προωθεί την ανάπτυξη των νέων μέσα από την καλλιέργεια και τις παραδοσιακές αγροτικές πρακτικές, με έμφαση στη βιωσιμότητα και την ένταξη. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα γνωρίσουν τη βιώσιμη γεωργία και θα αναπτύξουν καινοτόμες, φιλικές προς το περιβάλλον ιδέες 🌱🍅

📋 Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει δύο φάσεις:

Αναζητούμε 4 νέους (18-30 ετών) και 1 youth leader (18+) από την Ελλάδα, που θέλουν να συμμετάσχουν σε ένα εναλλακτικό Erasmus+ Youth Exchange με τίτλο «Crazy Train», εστιασμένο στην αυθεντική επικοινωνία, την αυτοπεποίθηση και τη σύνδεση με νέους από όλη την Ευρώπη 🎤

Το πρόγραμμα «Crazy Train» σου δίνει την ευκαιρία να απομακρυνθείς από την πίεση να «πετύχεις» ή να «ταιριάξεις» και να ανακαλύψεις πώς μοιάζει πραγματικά η αυθεντική επικοινωνία. Μέσα από βιωματικά παιχνίδια, δημιουργικά εργαστήρια, δραστηριότητες σε εξωτερικό χώρο, κίνηση και βαθύ αναστοχασμό, θα αμφισβητήσεις όσα σε κρατούν πίσω, θα χτίσεις ουσιαστικές φιλίες και θα βιώσεις την ελευθερία να εκφράζεσαι χωρίς φόβο κριτικής 🎭

Δεν απαιτείται προηγούμενη εμπειρία σε Erasmus+, μόνο περιέργεια, ανοιχτό μυαλό και διάθεση συμμετοχής 🙌

🚀 Last week marks the official kick-off of the PRISMA Ambassadors journey, and at Growth Hub, we couldn't be prouder to see our Ambassadors join this incredible group of young people from Austria, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, and Spain.

💻 The journey began with an online kick-off, where our Ambassadors met their fellow participants for the first time, introduced themselves, and got a first glimpse of what's waiting for them in the months ahead.
We were delighted to see Ms. Milena Nahapetyan representing the Council of Europe at the kick-off, bringing valuable insights and encouragement to all the ambassadors starting this journey.

From now until November, our Ambassadors will travel, create content, organise local activities, meet inspiring people, and work alongside their peers from across Europe to make digital spaces more informed, inclusive, and youth-friendly. Along the way, they'll build new skills, new friendships, and plenty of memories.

A big thank you to the PRISMA European Network and all project partners for making this possible and for giving our young people the chance to shape the digital spaces of tomorrow.

✨ It's only day one, but we're already excited to see our Ambassadors' ideas come to life.

🇪🇺 Democracy IRL: Civic Education for Democratic Resilience

Growth Hub NGO took part in the Youth Exchange "Democracy IRL" in Cumpăna, Romania (20-27 July), bringing together young people from across Europe to explore what democracy really means.

Participants connected democracy to their everyday rights and responsibilities, sharpened their critical thinking to spot manipulation and question narratives, discovered civic space as something they navigate daily, and deepened their understanding of how democracy works best when diverse voices are included.

Part of the exchange was also the Intercultural Nights, with every participating country sharing its own traditions, food, and stories.

Thank you to GEYC for organizing a week full of dialogue, exchange, and genuine connection, and to all participants for being active and constructing very thoughtful conversations.

Τι θα αναπτύξεις:

💬 Επικοινωνία & διαχείριση συγκρούσεων

Το πρόγραμμα χρησιμοποιεί μη τυπικές εκπαιδευτικές μεθόδους και περιλαμβάνει Youthpass, καθώς και follow-up reflection στους 3 και 6 μήνες.

✅ Εμπλεκόμενο με ΜΚΟ, youth centre, εθελοντική ομάδα ή mentoring

🕺💃 Youth in Motion – Dance for Social Change in Rural Communities 🌍
From May 23rd–31st, our participants gathered in Vršac, Serbia for an unforgettable Erasmus+ journey, stepping out of their comfort zones, moving freely, and connecting through dance.
Through mindful meditation, trance-like African dance, high-energy energizers, and free movement exercises, participants learned to embrace vulnerability and let go of the fear of being judged. Working in randomly mixed groups across ethnicities and backgrounds, they co-created choreographies inspired by real social issues, turning everyday movement into powerful storytelling. 🎭✨
"This was, without a doubt, the best Erasmus+ project I have ever participated in." 💬
Participants left with new skills, deeper empathy, and lasting bonds, proving that even the simplest everyday actions (yes, even eating! 🍝) can become choreography, and that dance really can be a tool for social change.
Huge thanks to everyone who made this training course so meaningful. Rural youth + contemporary dance + inclusion = magic. ✨
