A 7-year-old little angel needs our help! We stand united for Gavriella!
Little Gavriella has been facing an uphill battle since the moment she came into the world, after being diagnosed with a rare neurogenetic syndrome that affects multiple systems of the body. As a result, the little fighter presents with severe psychomotor delay and is still fed puréed foods, while she is also facing serious cardiopulmonary problems.
Thanks to your compassion and unwavering support, ACT OF KINDNESS has been standing by her family’s side for the past two years, securing all of little Gavriella’s urgent needs.
However, the expenses for her care remain overwhelming. The cost of the medical supplies she requires, along with the physiotherapy sessions essential for strengthening her muscles, has placed her parents in an extremely difficult situation, and they are once again asking for our support.
We cannot stand by and do nothing! Together, we can help ease their struggle and improve the 7-year-old fighter’s life with one small act of kindness!

Little Diamantis needs us more than ever!
An active, perfectly healthy child suddenly found himself fighting for his life…
At just 12 years old, Diamantis was diagnosed with a rare form of autoimmune polyangiitis that affected his vital organs and nervous system.
Within just a few days, his life changed dramatically. He developed severe contractures, his weight dropped to just 26 kg, and he was confined to a wheelchair for seven whole months.
Today, Diamantis has made tremendous progress. However, his prolonged treatment led to the development of cataracts.
As a result, he will need surgery and intraocular lens implantation to restore as much of his vision as possible.
The Organization has been standing by this family over the past year, securing our little fighter’s home-based physiotherapy program and covering urgent needs.
However, the expenses that have arisen are overwhelming, and his family is unable to afford the cost of the surgery he desperately needs.
Diamantis needs our help. He is only 14 years old and is facing an immense ordeal that we cannot even imagine.

Christos has made significant progress in his rehabilitation! We keep on fighting for the 18-year-old warrior!
It has been approximately 8 months since Christos was admitted to the Rehabilitation Center, and his motor skills continue to improve with each passing day
More specifically, he can now stand upright with the help of his therapists and specialized equipment. Soon, he will attempt to stand independently, taking another important step forward in his rehabilitation.
Thanks to your invaluable support, we have already reached 75% of our fundraising goal, securing Christos’s stay at the Center over all these months.
The young fighter and his family thank you all from the bottom of their hearts, while asking for your support just a little longer.
Without our support, Christos will not be able to complete his therapeutic program, which could significantly affect the progress he has made so far.
We are so close to reaching our goal! We cannot give up now! Together, we have the power to support a young man who is fighting an immense battle to reclaim his life!

Christos’ life was turned upside down about ten months ago when he was involved in a serious road traffic accident that resulted in spinal fractures and spinal cord injuries. Today, the 18-year-old fighter is receiving treatment at a specialized Rehabilitation Center, where he will need to remain for several more months to regain the abilities he has lost. However, the cost of his therapeutic program is extremely high, and his parents are desperately asking for our support. It is in our hands to secure Christos’ continued stay at the Rehabilitation Center and offer him a second chance at life!

Thanks to your invaluable support, we have already reached 91% of our fundraising campaign, securing the wheelchair that the young fighter urgently needs to move around safely, both inside and outside his home.
Tasos’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you, while asking for our support for just a little longer.
The young man’s therapeutic program needs to be intensified as soon as possible, as it plays a crucial role in improving his swallowing and enhancing his mobility.
However, this cannot happen without our help, as the cost of the program far exceeds the family’s financial means.

Tasos was diagnosed with epilepsy and pathological changes in his brain during early childhood. As a result, he has never been able to speak or walk, and he is still fed with puréed food. Aside from the wheelchair we were able to secure, his family is still counting on our support, as his therapeutic program must be intensified without any delay. We cannot stand by and do nothing! From surgeries to the first school bell!
ACT OF KINDNESS has been in contact with the 5-year-old fighter’s family, who shared some wonderful news with us: little Marialeta has started school and, so far, seems to be enjoying it!
An important factor in helping her adjust smoothly to her new school environment has, of course, been the removal of the urinary catheter she had been using during the first years of her life.
As for the next steps in her urinary tract reconstruction, one more surgery remains pending and is expected to take place in the near future at the clinic in Italy.
Thanks to you, we were able to cover all the expenses related to her hospitalization and medical supplies, as well as her family’s travel and accommodation costs in Bologna. This support gave the little girl the opportunity to undergo the surgical procedures that are essential to improving her urinary and kidney function.
For this reason, Marialeta’s mother thanks you all once again from the bottom of her heart. We remain in contact with the family and, of course, will keep you updated on any developments regarding the upcoming surgery.
Once again, we have made a real difference in the life of a child who needs us!
Because when we stand united, we can move mountains!

“I draw strength from my children…”
In a heartfelt and deeply personal account, Tasos’s mother shares her son’s journey.
She talks about the first symptoms, their everyday life, the countless challenges they face, and the bullying incidents they have experienced.
Until he was three months old, everything seemed to be progressing normally. Then, suddenly, the seizures began.
Tasos was diagnosed with abnormal brain changes that are responsible for his severe psychomotor developmental delay.
The therapies he receives are crucial to his development. However, every time he manages to acquire a new skill, financial difficulties force his family to reduce the frequency of his therapy sessions.
Thanks to your love and support, we were able to provide Tasos with his new wheelchair.
But we still need you by his side to help him continue his intensive therapy program and achieve every milestone he possibly can.

The two siblings are making significant progress in all areas of their development, and they must continue their therapies.

Michalis and Sophia are siblings, aged 17 and 14, respectively, whose daily lives are filled with challenges. The loss of their father has placed an even greater financial strain on the family. Their mother is appealing for help because she cannot cover the costs of both their therapy programs and the household’s basic needs. They are not alone! He was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and he urgently needs our support! We stand united for Panagiotis!
It was February 2024 when he began experiencing his first symptoms: speech and swallowing difficulties, which later progressed to weakness in his limbs. Before long, he received a diagnosis that came as a devastating blow: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a rare disease that causes the gradual degeneration of motor neurons.
Panagiotis never lost his courage. After all, he has always been a smiling and energetic person. But as time goes by, the 37-year-old fighter’s condition continues to deteriorate, as he is now unable to stand without support.
Panagiotis has already begun receiving a specialized injectable treatment aimed at slowing the progression of the disease. However, these medications are imported from abroad, and the cost of the treatment, combined with the fees of the medical team responsible for closely monitoring him and administering the injections safely, is extremely high and cannot be covered without our support.
We cannot turn our backs on him! ACT OF KINDNESS is urgently launching a fundraising campaign to help secure the best possible treatment for a man fighting the biggest battle of his life. Because, quite simply, any one of us could find ourselves in his position!

A little fighter, just 7 years old
Every day, Asterios faces his own quiet battle with the challenges associated with autism.
Thanks to the therapies you have helped secure, he has begun to communicate more effectively and has made progress in his motor skills.
Today, he can do things that seemed impossible just a short while ago, such as eating and taking care of his own personal needs independently.
This progress must not stop here. According to his therapists, little Asterios has significant potential for further development. He needs to continue his therapeutic program without interruption and have access to the care supplies he requires on a daily basis. Unfortunately, his family can no longer afford to meet all these needs on their own.
Let us join forces for little Asterios and make sure he has everything he needs! Because when we offer a child the opportunity to develop, we are not just giving them a better today—we are helping them build their future.
