🔥How Burnout Happens in Activism

It rarely starts with a crisis.
It starts with a simple sentence:
"I'll just help a little more."
One more task.
One more meeting.
One more message.
One more responsibility.

Because we care.
Because the work matters.
Because people matter.

But somewhere along the way, commitment can become overextension and solidarity can become self-sacrifice.

Burnout is not a personal failure. It is often the result of trying to carry the weight of a community, a project, or a movement alone.

Sustainable movements need sustainable people.
Rest is not the opposite of activism.
Boundaries are not selfish.
Care is not a reward after the work is done.
They are part of the work.

Landscapes of Femininity: A retrospective of collective creation. 🌿✨

Looking back at our time together, the impact of this Youth Exchange continues to resonate within all of us. Participants from Greece, Spain, France, and Germany came together to build a temporary community rooted in care, participation, and mutual support.

Through Landscapes of Femininity, the group engaged in nature-based learning, land art, and embodied practices, creating a powerful shared space for expression, presence, and transformation.

Looking at these moments, we are reminded of the deep connections made and the meaningful exchanges that unfolded day by day. This chapter may have concluded, but the reflection and inspiration remain wide open.

Pride was never built on silence.
It was built on resistance, rage, care and collective struggle.

We honour every q***r, trans and gender non-conforming person who refused invisibility so future generations could exist louder, safer and freer.

While rights are still questioned, identities still politicised and bodies still targeted, Pride remains necessary. Not as a trend. As a protest.

We stand with LGBTQIA+ communities everywhere against discrimination, violence, censorship and exclusion.
We stand for autonomy, visibility and liberation without conditions.

No corporation owns Pride.
No government defines q***rness.
No system gets to decide who deserves dignity.

Q***r joy is political.

*Senior Project Manager*

Η In contACT αναζητά Senior Project Manager για τη δημιουργία, οργάνωση και ανάπτυξη του Τμήματος Project Management & Fundraising, με βασικό αντικείμενο τον σχεδιασμό, τον συντονισμό και τη διαχείριση ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων και χρηματοδοτικών δράσεων.

Η θέση αφορά άτομο με εμπειρία στη διαχείριση ευρωπαϊκών έργων, οργανωτικές και στρατηγικές δεξιότητες, καθώς και ικανότητα συντονισμού ομάδων, συνεργασιών και απαιτητικών workflows σε ένα δυναμικό και πολυπολιτισμικό περιβάλλον.

🔹 8μηνη εξωτερική συνεργασία με έκδοση νόμιμων παραστατικών από τον/την συνεργάτη/ιδα
🔹 1.250€ μικτά μηνιαίως
🔹 On site επαγγελματική απασχόληση (Θεσσαλονίκη)
🔹 Δυνατότητα συμμετοχής σε διεθνείς συνεργασίες, κινητικότητες και επαγγελματικά ταξίδια

📌 Κύριες αρμοδιότητες:
• Σχεδιασμός, συγγραφή και διαχείριση ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων (Erasmus+, CERV, Creative Europe, ESF+ κ.ά.)
• Συντονισμός υλοποίησης έργων, reporting και παρακολούθηση παραδοτέων
• Ανάπτυξη fundraising στρατηγικής και αναζήτηση χρηματοδοτήσεων
• Οργάνωση διαδικασιών project management και reporting systems
• Διαχείριση συνεργασιών με διεθνείς εταίρους, φορείς και οργανισμούς
• Συμβολή στη δημιουργία και ανάπτυξη του Τμήματος Project Management & Fundraising

📌 Απαραίτητα προσόντα:
✔ Τουλάχιστον 3 χρόνια εμπειρίας σε ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα και fundraising
✔ Πολύ καλή γνώση Erasmus+ και ευρωπαϊκών χρηματοδοτήσεων
✔ Εμπειρία σε proposal writing, project coordination και reporting
✔ Άριστη γνώση Αγγλικών
✔ Εμπειρία σε διαχείριση ομάδων και ανθρώπινου δυναμικού
✔ Ικανότητα στρατηγικού σχεδιασμού και διαχείρισης πολλαπλών έργων
✔ Πολύ καλές οργανωτικές, επικοινωνιακές και συνεργατικές δεξιότητες

➕ Θα εκτιμηθούν:
• Μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές ή σχετικές πιστοποιήσεις
• Πολύ καλή γνώση δεύτερης ξένης γλώσσας
• Εμπειρία σε πολιτιστικά, κοινωνικά ή εκπαιδευτικά projects
