The project entitled "RE-thinking MICROcredit as a tool to support SMEs and boost LOCAL economies" and acronym REMICRO LOCAL is being implemented in the framework of the Interreg V-A “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020” Cooperation Programme. The project aims to develop cross-border cooperation between project partners, who will exchange good practices and work together to address the issue of empowering e

xisting and new businesses in the cross-border area with particular emphasis on productive sectors that have be recognized as the most dynamic in the area of interest, such as Agri-Food; Renewable Energy Sources; Waste Management; Tourism etc. The project partners will develop a wide range of business support services such as:
• mentoring / coaching sessions;
• masterclasses & workshops aimed at providing business training;
• info points for the provision of continuous support of the stakeholders regarding entrepreneurship issues;
• networking activities between entrepreneurs etc. The above services aim to address challenges such as access to information, creation of collaboration opportunities and the acquisition of entrepreneurial knowledge in order to strengthen existing businesses and encourage the creation of new ones.
