Great to be part of the rEdESIGN Third Transnational Partner Meeting in Seville (17–18 March 2026)! 🇪🇸

As ECTE, we were pleased to join partners in Seville for two days of meaningful exchange and collaboration focused on advancing social entrepreneurship in rural areas and promoting sustainable food systems.

A memorable highlight was the visit to Itálica, offering valuable insights into how cultural heritage can support local development, innovation, and sustainable tourism—an inspiring example closely linked to our project goals.

💡 During the meeting, partners:

- Defined the next steps for training activities, workshops, and on-site visits
- Strengthened collaboration on stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange
- Advanced work on policy recommendations and project dissemination

ECTE remains committed to contributing to the project’s impact by supporting communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across partners 🌍

Thank you to our Spanish hosts and all partners for the excellent cooperation!

🌱 Green Horizons in Action!

We are proud to share the successful completion of our Erasmus+ 5-day course in Rethymno, Greece, hosted by ECTE, titled: “Green Horizons: Application of Biological Control Agents for Sustainable Agriculture.”

Participants from Fatma Aliye Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and De Wijnpers explored innovative, eco-friendly agricultural practices aimed at reducing pesticide use and promoting sustainable food production.

✨ During the course, participants had the opportunity to visit and learn from key institutions:

📍 KEKAPER – Region of Crete, Education, Lifelong Learning and Employment Department
📍 Psiloritis Geopark
📍 Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (CIHEAM MAICh)

These visits provided valuable insights into sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and real-world applications of biological control methods.

Participants:
✅ Learned how to apply Biological Control Agents within Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
✅ Explored sustainable farming techniques and permaculture practices
✅ Strengthened international cooperation and environmental awareness

This experience empowered students with practical skills to support healthier ecosystems and safer food production for the future. 🌍💚

The training equipped participants with knowledge to apply biological control methods for sustainable agriculture and safe food production.
