I lived for many years in Santorini-Greece, where,whenever I found an abandoned and sick cat in the street, I took it home and I took good care of it (working for several years as assistant to one of the best veterinarians in Santorini helped me a lot). With the passing of the years the number of cats from my care reached 80 and the space of my house and courtyard became too small for these noble
souls. I decided to give up my job, my friends, my house and with big efforts I bought an olive grove in the village of Doxaro, in the Rethymno region of the island of Crete. When the cats arrived in this corner of heaven, they simply flourished ! They have a lot of space to explore, they have trees to climb. I try my best to build a modern shelter here, to provide them a wonderful life, but the bills for food, Vet ,fixing the road from the village 'till grove and all charges for bringing running water ruin me. I found here some people with big hearts, which helps me but is not enough.I am a strong woman and I will not give up,but right now I really need help.I am grateful for any amount !
