Hellenic Platform coordinates Greek Non-governmental Development Organisations performing in the fields of international development cooperation, humanitarian aid and development education. It currently represents different NGOs supported by a large segment of the Greek society and with a significant activity nationwide and in many developing countries. Hellenic Platform represents also Greek NGOs

in CONCORD - the European NGO Confederation for Relief and Development (www.concordeurope.org), which consists the main non-governmental interlocutor of EU institutions on the formation of the European Development Policy. The objective of the Platform is to influence - through the joint action of its members - the decision-makers in Greece, in the EU and internationally, for the improvement of policies and practices for sustainable development. It also aims to provide education, development of skills, training and sharing of information among Greek NGOs on the issues of "sustainable development" with the overall objective to improve the environment for Greek NGOs.
