Session 1: Big Small Practices of Self-Care

What do we mean by the term “self-care” ? What does it involve and why is this practice so important in our lives ? During this session, we will discuss how we should take care of ourselves in various areas to ensure the well-being of our mind, body and spirit, and we will make our own beauty masks.

Session 2: What does “Mental Health" Mean to You?

Self-care helps people improve both their physical and mental health. So, in this session, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, we will create a “gratitude jar”, a jar used to collect written notes about things that make us smile and feel grateful, serving as a reminder of positive moments.

Η El Sistema Greece Youth Choir καλεί νέα μέλη ηλικίας 18+ ετών να συμμετάσχουν στην ανοιχτή και δημιουργική μας μουσική κοινότητα. Δεν απαιτείται προηγούμενη μουσική εμπειρία! Όλοι και όλες είναι ευπρόσδεκτοι/ες να τραγουδήσουν σε ένα περιβάλλον γεμάτο δημιουργικότητα και ομαδικότητα.

Η χορωδία ερμηνεύει ένα συναρπαστικό και δυναμικό ρεπερτόριο 🎼και εμφανίζεται στις μεγαλύτερες σκηνές της Αθήνας συμμετέχοντας σε μεγάλες συναυλίες.

Μαέστρος της χορωδίας είναι η Βάγια Παπαγιαννοπούλου.

🎵Do you love music and singing? El Sistema Greece Youth Choir has a place for you!

El Sistema Greece Youth Choir invites new members aged 18 and above to join our open and creative music community. No prior musical experience is required! Everyone is welcome to sing in an environment full of creativity, collaboration, and teamwork.

The choir performs an exciting and dynamic repertoire 🎼and performs on the biggest stages in Athens, participating in major concerts.

The choir is conducted by Vagia Papagiannopoulou.

Session 1: Developing our resilience
Monday 15/9 14:00-17:00

What do we mean by the word “resilience” ?

Resilience in the human context has been described as the “capacity to remain flexible in our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors when faced by life disruption, or extended periods of pressure, so that we emerge from difficulty stronger, wiser, and more able”.

And then we wonder: How resilient am I ? Why is it important ? How can I build resilience?

During our session and through creative activities we will explore the importance of being resilient in our lives and ways to develop resilience skills.

Thursday 18/9 14:00-17:00

At this session, we will have the pleasure of welcoming the exceptional team from Sistech (https://sis.tech) in our Friendly Space, where we will discuss the challenges and risks of navigating the internet while exploring tips and hints for maintaining safety in the digital space.
