⚙ Ο European BEST Engineering Competition Challenge (EBEC Challenge) όντας ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους διαγωνισμούς μηχανικής για φοιτητές STEM στην Ευρώπη, είναι ένας διαγωνισμός 2 επιπέδων, βασισμένος σε ομάδες, σε 2 κατηγορίες – Innovative Design και Case Study. Και οι δύο κατηγορίες βασίζονται σε διεπιστημονικά θέματα που αναπτύχθηκαν για φοιτητές τεχνολογίας ώστε να τους δώσουν την ευκαιρία να
χρησιμοποιήσουν τις θεωρητικές γνώσεις που απέκτησαν κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών τους.
👷♂️ Φέτος, ο BEST Patras διοργανώνει τον EBEC Challenge Patras στις 8-11 Δεκεμβρίου. Μπορείτε να σχηματίσετε την ομάδα σας -αποτελούμενη από 4 μέλη- και να επιλέξετε μία από τις δύο κατηγορίες: Case Study και Innovative Design.
✔ Case Study: μια θεωρητική πρόκληση επίλυσης προβλημάτων που απαιτεί ανάλυση, έρευνα, συζήτηση, δοκιμή και παρουσίαση μιας λύσης που ταιριάζει σε ένα πραγματικό σενάριο που βασίζεται σε ρεαλιστικούς πόρους και την υπάρχουσα τεχνολογία, μέσα σε ένα χρονικό πλαίσιο.
✔ Innovative Design: οι συμμετέχοντες πρέπει να συνδυάσουν τη δημιουργικότητα και τις γνώσεις τους για να αναπτύξουν νέα τεχνολογικά σχέδια ή να βελτιώσουν τα υπάρχοντα. Η επαγγελματική τους παρουσίαση θα πρέπει να καταδεικνύει τον τεχνικό, κοινωνικό, περιβαλλοντικό και οικονομικό αντίκτυπο του σχεδιασμού τους.
🏆 Η ομάδα που αποδεικνύεται ότι έχει την πιο αποτελεσματική, δημιουργική και επιτυχημένη λύση στο τέλος του Τοπικού Γύρου του EBEC Challenge θα διαγωνιστεί στον Εθνικό Γύρο της Θεσσαλονίκης με τους νικητές των EBEC Challenge Athens, EBEC Challenge Chania και EBEC Challenge Thessaloniki.

⚙ European BEST Engineering Competition Challenge (EBEC Challenge) being one of the largest engineering competition for STEM students in Europe, is a 2 level, team-based competition, in 2 categories – Innovative Design and Case Study. Both categories are based on interdisciplinary tasks developed for students of technology to give them the opportunity to use the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies.
👷♂️ This year, BEST Patras is organizing EBEC Challenge Patras on December 8-11.You are able to form your team -composed of 4 members- and select one of the two categories: Case Study and Innovative Design.
✔-Case Study: a theoretical problem-solving challenge that requires analyzing, researching, deliberating, testing and presenting a solution that fits a real-case scenario based on realistic resources and existing technology, within a time-frame.
✔-Innovative Design: the competitors should combine their creativity and knowledge to develop new technological designs or improve upon existing ones. Their professional presentation should demonstrate the technical, social, environmental, and economic impact of their design.
🏆 The team which proves to have the most efficient, creative and successful solution at the end of the Local Round of EBEC Challenge will compete in the National Round in Thessaloniki with the winners of EBEC Challenge Athens, EBEC Challenge Chania and EBEC Challenge Thessaloniki.
