always so impressed by the way people bring their pets to the clinics in Nicaragua. They might not have carriers but that doesn鈥檛 stop them from getting their animals fixed 馃

terribly late to post about our Nicaragua trip but still have so much content to share with you! can鈥檛 wait to go back to help even more 馃挍

we hosted a spay and neuter clinic right by the biggest landfill of central america and managed to spay and neuter hundreds of cats and dogs in only a few hours 馃 is doing such incredible work out there!!

we sterilized 1,256 animals last weekend, and I was in charge of waking up the cats after surgery 馃惐

cats can take a little while to wake up depending on their metabolism, age, and weight, so blowing gently on their face is a great way to stimulate them without stressing them out. Their whiskers and facial nerves are super sensitive, so they鈥檙e usually the first part of their body to wake up 馃憖

sooo grateful we got to be a part of this huge clinic that has changed thousands, if not millions, of lives.

the summer we tried to do it all 馃

summer 2025 has been busy busy busy..
so here is a little recap on what we鈥檝e been doing.

1,2 & 3: we flew to nicaragua and met with julie, the founder of and were absolutely blown away by the work they do there. we managed to sterilize 200 animals in only one day in a very under resourced area. it was so heartwarming to see kids bringing their pets to be sterilized and vaccinated.

4: Amber is so busy running our TNR program in greece. she gets daily calls from people needing help and is trying her best to help everyone. we couldn鈥檛 help any cats without the continuous support of and 馃挍

5: after one year of having to put plants on her cat wall and finding strategies to hide Tzatziki anytime the landlord came in, we finally moved to a pet friendly place!

6: while in nicaragua we went to one of the biggest landfills in the country and witnessed the harsh reality that is for a lot of people and animals trying to survive. it only showed us that social justice and animal wellbeing are connected, how can you care for the animals when you can鈥檛 even care for yourself.

7: as we went to las vegas for work with we got to hangout with some of our favorite people including 馃挍 they鈥檙e the ones who taught us how to train tzatziki!

8: Adelle from and i have started our own podcast! we are the help we did not receive when we first wanted to get involved and we want to be your new besties in the tnr world 馃き
