Update on Blue. She went to the vets on 5th May as she was leaking p**p everywhere. She was scheduled to have the operation on the 14th May but it was getting worse. She had her operation on 7th May. The operation was a success but vet is concerned about her nerve system - if actually works …so we wait and see.
Background - She had a pr*****ed a**s so a
colopexy operation was done - this is where the bowel is securely fixed in the abdominal wall.
She was picked up on the 11th May when the Danish vets left. On the 12th she had to be sedated and her IV needle removed by our local vet (as our normal vet didn't want to stress her out as she has been a very difficult patient - had to be sedated before she could be checked) .
On the 19th May she had her stitches removed.
The operation and hospitalisation cost €380.
To remove the IV and sedation cost €35.00
