Today was a truly fun and energetic day for the group! 😄 We played many games, shared lots of laughs, and the overall vibe was amazing. One of the highlights was our debate sessions, where participants discussed topics that concern young people today—some even discovered a hidden talent for argumentation! 😄

We also played the classic “broken telephone” game using words from the different countries in our group… let’s just say things didn’t stay exactly the same by the end (or even close 😂). Along with many other fun activities, the day was relaxed, joyful, and full of positive energy—something everyone really enjoyed!

On the first day of the program, we started the morning with some icebreaker games, where the children introduced themselves and gradually began getting to know each other. After that, they had some free time to play and enjoy relaxed conversations. Now, we have moved into a creative phase 🎨, where the children are working in groups to make crafts alongside participants from different countries. This not only encourages their creativity but also helps them collaborate and build stronger connections with one another. 🌸🌸🌸

On the first day of the program, we started the morning with some icebreaker games, where the children introduced themselves and gradually began getting to know each other. After that, they had some free time to play and enjoy relaxed conversations. The experience of Christina:

I recently had the chance to participate in this wonderful project. It was actually my first Erasmus experience, so I felt a bit nervous at the beginning. At the same time, there was a kind of excitement inside me that I will never forget.
Ten days, five countries, twenty-five people. It sounds like math… but for me, it was pure chemistry.
I will never forget the first day. The warmth, the smiles, and how open everyone was. People were ready to sit down, listen to you, and truly make you feel seen. From the very beginning, it felt like something special was happening.
When the first workshop started, that’s when I began to feel more connected, not only with the others, but also with myself. It truly felt like the name of the project, “Towards Me.” Through the games, the icebreakers, the hikes in nature, and the cultural nights, we slowly became part of each other’s stories. All we wanted was to be present and to be a small part of one another’s memories.
Throughout this journey, I realized many things about myself. I became more self-aware, more accepting, and more appreciative of who I am. The mindfulness activities and the emotional moments we shared helped me see things from a different perspective.
I learned to appreciate the small moments
walks in nature, quiet nights, and deep conversations with these amazing people. I realized that silence is not always empty or quiet, and that calmness is something that exists within us.
People are the ones who make the world go around. And during those ten days, these people truly made my world go around.

The experience of Panos:

On February 21st, the journey began. I started from Madrid and traveled all the way to Villamanín, Spain, where the project officially started. The trip itself was already an adventure because I lost my bag with all my clothes. Even though that was stressful at first, I tried to stay positive and keep moving forward.
From the very first day, there was a special atmosphere that I will never forget. There was music, laughter, and a real connection within the group. It immediately felt like we were all comfortable with each other.
Overall, this project was life-changing in many ways. It changed my perspective on mental health and also helped me grow as a person. People from five different countries participated: Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and Lithuania. I never expected that in less than ten days I would make such meaningful and beautiful connections with people from different cultures.
That is the beauty of these kinds of projects. They bring together people who are passionate about life, creativity, and new experiences. During the project we shared hikes, music, art, and many conversations, while learning about each other’s cultures and backgrounds.
This experience showed me that people are meant to meet other people and share moments together. Even though we come from different countries and cultures, we realize that deep down we all want the same things: connection, understanding, and love.
If I had to describe the project in one word, it would be productivity. There was creativity everywhere—filmmaking, art, ideas, and inspiration. It was an experience that I will always remember.

The experience of Paschalis:

I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Youth Exchange 'TOWARDS ME: Art, Mind & Action' in Villamanín, Spain, from February 21st to March 2nd. Living for 10 days in the mountains of León with 25 young people from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, and Spain was a deeply transformative experience. Through workshops focused on mindfulness, emotional expression, and creative arts, I learned practical tools to manage stress and build self-awareness. Connecting with nature and engaging in outdoor activities helped me find a sense of balance and strength, while the intercultural exchange reminded me of the power of solidarity and mutual respect. I am returning home with new friendships, a deeper understanding of my emotions, and a renewed commitment to personal well-being and environmental consciousness.

The experience of Mariza:

At the end of February I had the chance to participate in the Erasmus+ “Towards Me” project for 10 days and it was a truly meaningful and enriching experience for me. During the project we participated in many activities, such as ice-breaking games, group discussions, meditation sessions, creative exercises such as drawing and mandalas, workshops and hikes in the mountains, through which we explored topics such as mental health, self-awareness and personal development. Personally, I really enjoyed the whole experience because it helped me reflect on myself, while at the same time connecting deeply with the rest of the group. We created a safe space where we could share our thoughts, express our gratitude and support each other, which brought us very close as a team. At the same time, through the intercultural evenings (Spanish, Portuguese, Lithuanian, Greek and Italian), we exchanged traditions and elements of our cultures, making the experience even more special. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience for me that helped me grow personally, meet amazing people and build meaningful connections.
