"SUPER PANDA RETIRES"
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Gandhi.
Ten years ago, I drove my papa’s car ( a Seat Panda) , lovingly nicknamed Super Panda, from Barcelona all the way to Lesvos island with nothing more than a heart full of purpose and a dream to serve.
I began alone, without funds, without structure… and doing whatever I could for the people arriving from the sea with nothing left but their hope.
Super Panda became much more than a car.He became a companion of endless humanitarian missions:carrying flowers essences, glasses, teams of doctors volunteers, hope , smiles, tears, and stories from the refugee camps of Greece. Super Panda is the heart of a project that has served thousands of refugees over almost a decade.
He witnessed light and darkness, exhaustion and rebirth, heartbreak and immense love. And he never failed me, he protected me several times from danger.
Now, after so many years of service to Humanity , it’s time for Super Panda to retire and finally come home, honouring a decade of service, resilience, and human connection and preparing for new beginnings.
Bringing Super Panda home involves a cost I can’t cover alone right now :transport, adjustments, and a few repairs after so many years of service.
