The Gekko Leadership Council recently hosted an evening dedicated to promoting conversations around access to higher education for displaced learners in Greece 🎓

We were proud to share a sneak peek of “Stories that Matter” 🎬 a documentary created through the voices and experiences of young people navigating education, identity, and opportunities in Greece, produced by filmmaker .matyaqubov. The screening was followed by an insightful panel discussion 🗣️✨, where field experts joined our Council members to dive deeper into the systemic barriers and potential solutions for tertiary education 📚🌍

Beyond the screen and the discussion, this event was a space for our community to share, connect, and be heard 🤝💬❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening and contributed to such meaningful conversations 🙏✨ We look forward to continuing this work together. 🌱💡

Celebrate Gekko's final term with us!

Join us, Thursday, 14 May from 18:00-21:00 for our Graduation Event @ T16. Tzaferi 16, Athens for an evening of celebration, reflecting and well earned recognition!

Our amazingly dedicated students will receive certificates symbolizing their achievements and marking the end of this journey.
The atmosphere will be fun and festive with snacks and drinks to follow. Complete with music and great company!
Let's take this moment to reflect on all that has been accomplished by our learners this term!

Join us for an inspiring evening featuring a student-led documentary followed by a panel discussion with guest speakers and GLC members. Together, we’ll spotlight the barriers faced by displaced youth in accessing higher education and explore how we can pave more inclusive pathways to opportunities moving forward.

🥳209 students actively attended Gekko in Fall Term 2025,
a 38.4% increase from the previous term.

🏆19 students qualified to take certification exams,
including the ECDL Computer Certificate and the IELTS English Certificate.

✨90 of our students maintained an attendance rate above 75%,
demonstrating strong commitment to education throughout the term.

☀️88.3% of students surveyed reported satisfaction
with the quality of lessons.

📚A total of 861 class hours were delivered
during the 12-week term.

The challenges and accomplishments of the Fall 2025 term have better prepared us to meet our students’ needs and expectations. We look forward to the completion of another meaningful and successful term here at Gekko and to the new ways our learners will continue to impress us.🦎

This 4-month program will:
