Agios Petros, Kalyvia Attica. Located in the medieval area "Ennea Pyrgoi" (Nine Towers) next to Kalyvia village, the church of Agios Petros is a beautiful and interesting cruciform Byzantine church with a dome and a narthex. The church was built at the end of the 12th century A.D. and what impresses is the beauty of the proportions and variety of the surfaces, which combined with the escalation upwards progressively from the bottom upwards, where we find the cylindrical dome, we can "feel" the imposing presence as a whole that consolidates individual components and simultaneously raises the entire temple...
