"The Corinth region is the most polluted region of the Peloponnese. Everywhere you look, there is trash along the road. Empty bottles, plastic, cans, paper, you name it, it's there. No one cleans it up. You can build new roads and pedestrian paths everywhere, but if there is so much trash lying next to them, it remains a garbage dump. People throw everything out of their cars, and apparently, most of them are fine with that. They don't bother to take the trash home and throw it in the bin there. And they aren't even ashamed of it. Where is this going? Why are they destroying such a beautiful country? I don't understand it. People are staying away from this region because of the trash, and the municipality is looking the other way. I am not Greek and I don't speak Greek, and when I call the municipality with questions about the environment, they hang up. What rude people. Do I really want to continue living in a country like this? This is not how I know Greece; this is not how I know the Greeks. I still have hope that it will change."
Need I say more Corinthos? The people have spoken. Corinthos clean up your garbage 🗑️🗑️🗑️🚮🚮🚮 on the port, the illegal parking 🅿️🅿️🅿️ on the port, the broken sidewalks, the broken roads 🛣️ 🛣️ 🛣️, the abandoned buildings, the grass and weeds not 🚫🚫🚫 cut, but more importantly the piles of garbage 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮 all over Corinthos.
The people have spoken. Corinthos is the DIRTIEST city in Peloponnese and all of Greece. The residents deserve better. The tourists deserve better. Greece deserves better. We deserve a clean and beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ beautiful Corinthos and definitely not 🚫🚫🚫 a dirty Corinthos.
