Pánjika is a NON-profit Cooperative for the development of climbing activity in the area of Leonidio, dealing with issues of social, ecological, environmental, and cultural sustainability. Today, 2021, we are a group of 10 members working full or part-time for the benefit of the Cooperative. Our aim is to work towards a sustainable future regarding our working conditions, climbing development, cul
tural changes, social-natural-environmental impact in the area. We have built our Cafe-Bar-Restaurant as an open space and a meeting point for climbers, locals, and other visitors. A place to enjoy your coffee, drinks, and freshly made food, a place to share music and enjoy social interaction, a place to meet new climbing partners or make new friends. The walls in the cafe are our small gallery, a window into the world through the eyes of artists. So far we have also managed to build a climbing shop where you can find our guidebooks, climbing gear and other products from small brands that we support. We sell our products in "fair trade" standards and as NON-profit cooperation, our profits serve the purposes and goals of the cooperative and are reinvested locally. We have coordinated collectively the publication of the 2 first guidebooks in the areas of Leonidio and Kyparissi and we are happily on our way to print our 3rd book. The profit of the guidebooks goes to bolting and route maintenance as well as to social, educational, and ecological projects in the area. If you would like to know more about us and support our work, please don't hesitate to share your questions with us via e-mail. Our WEBSITE is, unfortunately, currently unavailable but you can still find us on Instagram and Facebook or talk to us directly in our spaces or at the crags.
