🏟️🎨 Transforming the Lefkada Municipal Stadium through volunteering!

The “Clean, Create & Educate” programme continues its inspiring journey in Lefkada, as 20 young volunteers from across Europe work together for environmental protection, creativity, and community engagement. 🌍

At the Municipal Stadium “Platon Grigoris”, the volunteers first carried out a full clean-up of the outer walls, removing graffiti and signs of wear. They then brought the space back to life with original murals inspired by sport and its core values — teamwork, respect, solidarity, and fair play. ⚽💙

The result is a more welcoming, vibrant, and inspiring space for athletes, fans, and visitors, showcasing how youth volunteering can create real and visible impact in local communities.

🏟️🎨 Transforming the Lefkada Municipal Stadium through volunteering!

The “Clean, Create & Educate” programme continues to leave its mark on Lefkada, as 20 young volunteers from across Europe take action for a cleaner, more creative, and more connected community. 🌍

At the Municipal Stadium “Platon Grigoris”, the volunteers first cleaned and restored the outer walls, removing graffiti and signs of wear. They then transformed the space with vibrant murals inspired by sports and its core values — teamwork, respect, solidarity, and fair play. ⚽💙

The result is a renewed, welcoming, and inspiring environment for athletes, fans, and visitors alike.

Young volunteers from the “Clean, Create & Educate” programme have been actively contributing to the transformation of the Lefkada Municipal Stadium “Platon Grigoris”.
After cleaning and restoring the outer walls of the stadium, removing graffiti and signs of wear, the team moved on to something truly inspiring: creating vibrant murals themed around sports and its values — teamwork, respect, solidarity, and fair play. ⚽💙

The stadium has now become a more welcoming, creative, and inspiring space for athletes, fans, and visitors.

🎨⚽ Οι εθελοντές του προγράμματος «Clean Create & Educate» ολοκλήρωσαν μια όμορφη παρέμβαση στο Δημοτικό Στάδιο Λευκάδας «Πλάτων Γρηγόρης»!

Με πολλή όρεξη και ομαδικό πνεύμα, καθάρισαν τους τοίχους από μουτζούρες και συνθήματα και δημιούργησαν νέες τοιχογραφίες εμπνευσμένες από τον αθλητισμό, το ποδόσφαιρο και τις αξίες της συνεργασίας και του σεβασμού.

Ευχαριστούμε θερμά τον Δήμο Λευκάδας για τη συνεργασία και ιδιαίτερα τον κ. Καραγιάννη για την πολύτιμη ηθική και υλική υποστήριξή του από την πρώτη στιγμή.
Ευχαριστούμε επίσης όλους τους εθελοντές μας που με τη δημιουργικότητα και τον ενθουσιασμό τους συνέβαλαν στη μεταμόρφωση του χώρου!

🎨⚽ The volunteers of the “Clean Create & Educate” project have successfully completed a beautiful transformation at the Lefkada Municipal Stadium “Platon Grigoris”!

With teamwork, dedication, and creativity, they cleaned the walls from graffiti and unwanted markings and created inspiring murals promoting sports, football, teamwork, and respect.

A heartfelt thank you to the Municipality of Lefkada for its cooperation and especially to Mr. Karagiannis for his valuable moral and material support from the very beginning.
We would also like to thank all our volunteers whose enthusiasm and creativity helped bring this initiative to life!

We are looking for 1 motivated participant with experience in:
✅ Volunteering activities

This advanced international training course will bring together 24 mentors, ESC project managers, and youth workers from different countries to strengthen their skills in:
🔹 Digital mentoring and platform co-administration
🔹 Content development and quality assurance
🔹 Skills recognition, badges, certificates, and Youthpass
🔹 Monitoring learning progress and impact
🔹 Building sustainable mentoring and digital civic education networks

The training is part of the Learn2Volunteer Reloaded project.
