🐈‍⬛ Help us save the girls

Every female cat in our town is right now being chased, harassed, and forced to mate with these huge boy cats.

They chase them in hoards. You can see packs of 8 males chasing 1 female, cornering her while fighting with each other.

This relentless stress they experience every 3 months is a nightmare. They do not want this. They run away, hiss, and fight them off.

You can hear the males calling out all night, and the screams of the females being attacked by a group of male cats.

Male cat pen*ses have spikes on them, that embed into the female cats body so she can’t escape.

Forced mating not only results in unwanted and life-threatening pregnancy, but also exposes them to injuries and diseases from male cats.

🐈‍⬛ We need your help. Right now, spaying female cats is literally lifesaving.

🐈‍⬛ Here are just a few of the 65 little ones we have helped get sterilised, parasite-treated, vaccinated, or life-saving veterinary care on Lefkada Island so far this winter.

This was a team effort alongside many local volunteers, rescuers, and neighbours, some of whom even sponsored the vet care of many of these community cats.
