GABE Project Platform Virtual broker platform for bioenergy business developments - GABE Project Noli’ in Korce. The Region of Western Macedonia is the lead partner of the project.

In the framework of GABE Project, an IPA Cross – border Programme “Greece-Albania 2007-2013”, a virtual broker platform for bioenergy business development was created, concerning the biomass and bioenergy industry at the cross-border region. The Project GABE (Greek – Albanian cross border cooperation in Biomass Exploitation) promotes the entrepreneurship in the biomass sector. The partners of the

project are the Region of Western Macedonia, the Centre for Research & Technology/Chemical Process Engineering Research Institute (CERTH/CPERI), the Region of Korce, and the University ‘Fan S.
