The Asociación Socio-Cultural VerdeSur in Alcalá la Real, Spain, is offering a 10-month volunteering position as part of the European Solidarity Corps, starting from 1st July . This project is an incredible chance to develop new skills, immerse yourself in Spanish culture, and contribute to a vibrant community.What’s in it for you?
✅ Participate in activities like supporting language learning, helping with schoolwork, and organizing workshops for children, youth and the elderly.
✅ Live with other international volunteers in a shared house from 10 different countries, fostering cultural exchange and friendships.

🏔️ Call for Facilitators — Greece, 3–18 July 2026

We're putting together a small core team to lead an Erasmus+ training course in Karpero, Grevena this July.

If you love non-formal education, designing a great energiser, leading a session that lands, and living off-grid with a group for two weeks — keep reading.

What you'll do:
• Lead activities, energisers, and reflection circles
• Deliver one or more expert sessions in your area of strength
• Co-facilitate group dynamics across an international cohort
• Hold space — emotionally, logistically, methodologically
• Help us iterate as we go (this isn't a turn-up-and-deliver gig)
What we're looking for: Facilitators with strong expertise in any of — emergency response, mental health, scouting / outdoor ed, youth work, first aid / CPR, climate, wilderness skills, NFE methodology, group dynamics, conflict resolution, trauma-informed care. Pick your one or two superpowers.

Who should apply: Anyone 18+ with real facilitation experience — any context. Mountain readiness + a sense of humour required.

Applications now open: FIRST 72 — Erasmus+ Training for Youth Workers

Europe is facing a growing number of natural disasters — wildfires, floods, earthquakes, heatwaves. Youth workers are increasingly on the front line of community response, but few have formal training in crisis preparedness.

FIRST 72 is an Erasmus+ KA1 training course addressing exactly this gap. Hosted by Hellas For Us in partnership with 6 organisations across South-Eastern Europe, the course brings 35 youth workers together for 7 days of immersive, hands-on learning:
▶ Crisis simulations under time pressure
▶ First aid and CPR (peer-led)
▶ Emergency planning and grab-bag design
▶ Hiking, shelter-building, and outdoor survival
▶ Country research on civil protection systems
▶ Community resilience initiative development

📍 Karpero, Greece (mountain village)
📅 12-18 July 2026
👥 5 participants per country (Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey)
💰 Fully funded by the Erasmus+ programme
