Looking for ​5 LATVIAN participants for Training Course "​D​ouble Check" ​1​7-27 June, 2026 in ​A​lexandroupouli, Greece with no age limit!
Double Check is a European training initiative designed to equip youth workers with practical, non-formal
education tools to combat disinformation and foster critical thinking among young people.

The project is financially supported by KA1 of the European Commission Erasmus Plus Programme. Hence, all the costs related to the participants’ accommodation will be covered as well as the travel costs will be made according the km calculator (For Latvia – 309 EUR).

Η System and G σας προσκαλεί στην εκδήλωση “Intercultural Cooperation for Sustainable Society Development”, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 28 και 29 Απριλίου 2026, στη Δημοτική Βιβλιοθήκη Κομοτηνής, από τις 16:30 έως τις 18:00.

Μέσα από δράσεις διαλόγου, ανταλλαγής εμπειριών και ενημέρωσης, η εκδήλωση εστιάζει στη διαπολιτισμική συνεργασία, τη δημοκρατική συμμετοχή, την κοινωνική ένταξη και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη της κοινωνίας.

Στις 28/04, οι συμμετέχοντες θα λάβουν μέρος στη δράση Human Library, μια βιωματική διαδικασία που δίνει χώρο σε προσωπικές ιστορίες, εμπειρίες και διαφορετικές οπτικές.

Στις 29/04, θα πραγματοποιηθεί ομιλία με θέμα “Contemporary challenges to democracy and political participation” από τον Βασίλειο Γραμματικάκη, Αναπληρωτή Καθηγητή Διεθνούς Δικαίου στο Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης.

Και τις δύο ημέρες θα παρουσιαστούν επίσης τα αποτελέσματα του ευρωπαϊκού έργου EID – Empowering Inclusive Democracy.

From 15–21 March 2026, Latvia hosted the Erasmus+ Youth Workers Mobility “Future Thinking – Present Action in Youth Work.” Youth workers, mentors, educators, and facilitators from Latvia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, and
France gathered to discuss, learn, and practice topics related to future thinking.
The program was designed to equip youth workers and young people with both theoretical knowledge and practical tools to develop future‑thinking skills and explore future scenarios
in an engaging way. Throughout the week, participants took part in a rich learning process that combined theory, practice, creativity, and non‑formal education.
The training was based on the methodology of the Erasmus+ KA2 project FUTURLANDS, introducing and applying tools developed within the project, such as the Future Thinking
Guidelines, One page posters, the learning platform www.projecthows.com, and the educational game “Steps from the Future.” The week concluded with participants preparing messages for young people worldwide and shaping concrete ideas they will continue developing in their local communities. This mobility was not only a learning experience but also a space for international cooperation, cultural exchange, and building a community of future‑minded youth workers ready to act today for a better tomorrow.

Looking for 4 LATVIAN participants for Training Course "Click to Include: Bridging Gaps in the Digital World" 29 March-7 April, 2026 in Komotini, Greece with no age limit!

By implementing the project "Click to Include: Bridging Gaps in the Digital World," we aim to achieve a transformative impact in youth work practices by equipping youth workers with the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to foster digital inclusion, promote community development, and empower marginalized groups. Our overarching goal is to use the power of digital tools to create inclusive, equitable, and innovative youth work practices that address the needs of young people from diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities or physical impairments. Additionally, the project seeks to address the growing importance of digital literacy in modern youth work. By focusing on digital safety, cyber security, and data protection, the project will equip youth workers with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital landscape responsibly and guide young people in doing the same. These skills are essential for ensuring that youth work remains relevant, effective, and responsive to the needs of the digital age.

📍 Understanding and Mobilising Youth | ProVote (CERV)

Our organisation successfully organised the first event of the ProVote project, a project co-funded by the European Union, on 3 February 2026 in Komotini. The event brought together youth workers, civil society representatives, local authorities and young people to explore effective ways of strengthening youth participation in democratic processes at local, national and European level.

Through interactive workshops and dialogue, the event highlighted the importance of experiential learning, inclusive spaces and access to youth-friendly information for fostering meaningful democratic engagement. This first ProVote activity marked an important step towards empowering young people and strengthening democratic participation across Europe.
