Taxis can pass on the road to CDR 🚕🚕🚕

🚜 Corfu Donkey Rescue has spent a lot of time, effort and money to maintain the 400m of unmade track that leads to our gate, even though it does not belong to us.

🚕 Recently we received a complaint from a visitor that arrived in a taxi, but the driver refused to drive down the track and left them to walk.

🫣 We understand this is probably because the driver was not familiar with the road and didn't want to damage his car on the unknown.

📢 However we want to make everyone aware that the track is absolutely fine for a taxi to pass.

☎️ Any visitor wishing to come to us by taxi, you can show the driver this post or, if you prefer, you can contact us and we will give you the number of a driver that will drive right to our gate.

A family visited us yesterday from the UK and the children were very excited to pick up poo 💩💩💩

It's graduation day!! 🎓🎓🎓

🏆Seven of our donkeys have passed their probation and can now be adopted. (Actually there are eight but we haven't been able to catch Thibo 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍➡️ to take his photograph! 📸)

A big CDR welcome to Vangellis 🥰😘
He arrived from Larissa area on the mainland as his owner was struggling to care for him.
He suffers a bit with arthritis and can struggle to get up after lying down, he's started taking the devils claw that you have been kindly sending to us so hopefully we will see a difference soon.
Vangellis is extremely friendly and curious, he likes looking in the office for treats but his absolute favourite thing is attention and brushing from visitors, he Will stand by the grooming brushes box and wait for all the fuss. .. and of course he gets it. 😜💙🩵
