Hello, we are Hanna and Tero!
We are a Finnish couple and we live permanently here on the small island of Telendos.
We have been volunteering with the Kalymnos Cat Project whenever our own schedules have allowed, and along the way it has been a real pleasure to help the cats, learn lots of new things ourselves and meet some truly wonderful people. ❤️
Now we have also promised to help with the Kalymnos Cat Project’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. So from now on, you’ll be seeing a little bit of our work here too.
The cats have, by the way, managed to sneak quite firmly into our yard and into our lives here on Telendos.
Perhaps the sweetest survival story is little Petri. Petri was brought to us when he was only about ten days old, and we took him into our care. During the summer, this tiny little scrap of a kitten has grown into quite a big boy!
Our hope is to find Petri his own permanent home later on.
During the autumn, we also want to introduce you to some of our other active volunteers and tell you a little more about all the things we do together to help the cats. Because there is quite a lot going on here besides taking pictures of cute cats. ❤️

The more people who find us and follow the Kalymnos Cat Project, the easier it is for us to reach new volunteers and donors when needed, and to share information about the lives of street cats and the work being done for them here in Kalymnos and Telendos.
