ESN TEI Crete is part of the International Exchange Erasmus Student Network, a European-wide student organisation, created to support and develop student exchange. ESN network has more than 800 local sections in almost 40 countries working in and with the Higher Educational Institutes and are being organized on a local, national and international level with approximately 34.000 members. k is in direct contact with more than 200.000 international minded students every year.

The aim of ESN TEI Crete is to improve the mobility-experience of all the students studying in our island. One of our main objectives is to improve the social and personal integration of the exchange students. We also try to ensure that every erasmus student coming for an exchange is warmly welcomed, receives all the information he needs and gets rapidly involved in the local student life. To achieve this goal, we organize welcome parties and all kind of fun, sportive and cultural activities, all year long. We also set up buddy programs, provide information and may even come and fetch you at the airport when you arrive! In a word, we are here to make your stay in Crete a better, easier and richer experience!

The first section of the Erasmus Student Network in Crete has been established on the 10th March 2010 by the students of TEI of Crete and is based there.
