From Chios classrooms across Greece and beyond, our Adopt a Ship™ program was showcased at The Chios Festival, where our Director presented the outcomes of shipping being in the school system for the last 8 years through our Adopt a Ship™ program, in front of an audience of national and local state officials, business men, educators, and fellow presenters who contribute to Greece's welfare.

Wrapping Up Summer Internships 2026

As summer comes to a close, we would like to thank the member companies that partnered with Project CONNECT to provide valuable internship opportunities to emerging talent entering the maritime industry.

Through the CONNECT CV-HR Platform, we were proud to help match several students and graduates with summer internship placements, creating valuable opportunities for learning, growth, and career development.

Today, we are especially pleased to recognize our own interns, Maria Iliopoulou, Anna Kyziridou, pictured here. Throughout the summer, these talented young women brought enthusiasm, commitment, and fresh perspectives to our team. While we helped them gain exposure to the maritime business and professional office environments, they also contributed greatly to our mission and everyday work.

At Project CONNECT, we are passionate about helping Young Professionals in-the-Making™ take their first steps into the world of shipping, both in Greece and internationally.

As the Roman philosopher Seneca wisely said:

"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity."

At Project CONNECT, we focus on the preparation that helps make opportunities count.
