Glyfada Toastmasters Welcome to Glyfada Toastmasters Club! How does it work? There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations.

At Toastmasters participants get the skills and confidence to express themselves effectively in any situation and overcome their public speaking anxiety by giving and receiving constructive feedback and becoming better listeners.The Club provides all members the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which foster self-confidence and personal growth. A Toastmasters meeting is a

learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success. Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure. Members learn communication skills by working in the Competent Communication manual, a series of 10 self-paced speaking assignments designed to instill a basic foundation in public speaking.
-Toastmasters has no teachers nor instructors. There are only people like you who improve their skills through practice in a friendly, fun and supportive environment.
-We foster this environment together by helping each other.

Last night’s meeting was all about Leadership and what a special evening it was!
We explored how leadership shows up in everyday moments, in the choices we make, and in the courage to communicate with clarity and heart.

We enjoyed one inspiring speech, thoughtful evaluations, and meaningful discussions from our members.

And… we had an unexpected VIP guest:
✨ a beautiful little kitten who stole everyone’s heart! 😺
Maybe the cutest reminder that leadership comes in all forms, sometimes furry and curious!
