Mir soen e ganze grousse Merci u jiddereen deen eise Projet a soumat d'Aarbecht vu Blëtz ënnerstëtzt huet. Ëmmer erëm si mir stolz an houfreg op dat wat mir mat eise Vëloen an eisem Projet areecht hunn.

P.s. Den 9. Abrëll um 19h erziele mir op enger Soirée am Pafendall iwwert eis Rees duerch Europa an eis Erfarungen déi mir an den 8 Méint konnte sammelen.

Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, are all gems of history and architecture.

Every day in Croatia, we indulged ourselves with stops at the beach and a dip in the sea.

We met many nice people…!

Now we are on our way home…

Seven months ago, I started this epic ride around Europe on a bicycle.

Today we have completed 8,000km!

It has been difficult some times.
Climbing several hills. Riding in the intense summer heat in Corfu; battling the wind in France; the road conditions in Albania; the cold and solitude in the beginning.

But it has also been so beautiful. The Tuscan hills; vineyards in France; the kind people in the Balkans; the fairy-tale landscape in Montenegro, and crital clear blue water in Greece and Croatia.

So many kind and beautiful people in Europe have opened the doors of their homes; shared food with us; and stories.
A lot of love and friendships were made—from France to Spain, Germany to Italie, Greece to Croatia. I’m so grateful.

180 cycling days! 11 countries!! 8008km !!!
Months and months on the road.
Every day, We discover for ourselves somewhere new.
Enjoying all the beauty and brutality of nature. Feeling peace and happiness in the moment.

This is the first time I’ve challenged myself like that, pushing myself this far physically & mentally for hours, for days. As time passes, my mind becomes stronger and more confident. I become more peaceful.

This journey is almost done. 2 more weeks to go. I’ve learned and grown so much.
I’m grateful for all of it.
This time I can say it!
I’m proud of MYSELF !

Montenegro🇲🇪

Almost too perfect to be real…

The panoramic road nr. 3, from the Shkodra Lake to Kotor - Perast and the border to Croatia, is a rollercoaster with stunning viewpoints all along the way.

It is a natural paradise.

We drove the Kotor Serpenties: a stretch of 8.3 kilometers long with 16 hairpin turns and an elevation loss of 423 meters.
It is one of the most famous roads in the world.
The road is leading you down to Kotor old town and offering stunning views of Kotor from above.

The evenings were magical with the last sun rays reflecting from the rocky coastline and the sun setting in a strikingly colorful orange sea. It was like being in a fjord.

This country is a hidden gem boasting fairy-tale landscapes.

We felt as if we had discovered a secret jewel that few others know.

Montenegro you never ceased to amaze us.

Albania you were different ! 🇦🇱

8 days - 446km

We had our first real down of our trip and we were fighting with motivation issue.
The days weren’t easy for us. There were hellish roads with no hard shoulder and trucks passing way closer to us than we would have desired, a lot of trash and smoke/smog.

But in Albania the people are warm, welcoming, and almost over-the-top in the way they want to treat you.

We met a lot of bikepackers and many interesting people with their different perspectives, Faleminderit.

The Vibrant Cycling Scene of Greece 🇬🇷

28 days- 1054 km - 9926 HM

After a month, we say goodbye to the great time we had in Greece. Scenic mountains, gorgeous landscapes, quiet roads, frequent villages, plenty of clear blue water and amazing food.

During our trip through the country, we have seen and experienced a lot and for us is certain, Greece is an absolute dream destination for bike travelers.

It's a challenging country to cycle for sure – it's a rare day you'll have got away without cycling up and over one hill or mountain. But it's rewarding.

…we loved it!

Now we are heading further north. A new chapter of our adventure begins…

Corfu🇬🇷

We cycled through ancient mountain villages with beautiful, but very steep passages and cruised along beautiful seaside vistas with crystal clear water.

We took our time to do beach hopping and a lot of relaxing.

Corfu, you amazed us.
