Next week, our Director, Innovation Maxime Belingheri will be joining EMBRACE - Empowering Business Communities to Prevent Labour Trafficking for their Best Practice Sharing Conference, organized by HEUNI / The European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control.

We’re looking forward to being a part of this important two-day conference focused on preventing labor trafficking and strengthening cross-border cooperation.

During his remarks, Maxime will be sharing concrete cases — such as Harvesting the Future - where FLA’s multi-stakeholder approach has led to a significant and measurable impact in addressing systemic issues such as child labor and forced labor.

What is EMBRACE up to this June?

🌍 Our first transnational Conference!

On 15–16 June, the EMBRACE project will host the Transnational Best Practice Sharing Conference in Helsinki, Finland. The two-day conference will focus on preventing labour trafficking and strengthening cross-border cooperation.

🤝 Bringing together experts, researchers, businesses and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share good practices, and advance collective action against labour exploitation.

Following the consultation meetings in Athens, this reel presents selected moments from EMBRACE engagement activities across Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, and Italy. 🌍

Across all countries, consultations brought together businesses, migrant communities, and civil society organisations, supporting exchange and contributing to the project’s ongoing development. 🤝

At ELIAMEP, the EMBRACE project hosted a series of consultation meetings bringing together businesses, migrant communities, and civil society organisations 🌍🤝

From engaging discussions with senior business representatives to meaningful exchanges with migrant community leaders and CSOs, the conversations highlighted the importance of collaboration in fostering inclusive policies and practices. 💼
