Next Thursday 31/10 I attend Genres d'à Côté / Pink Screens Film Festival in Brussels and on Sunday 3/11 I will be in Paris for Cineffable, with Lesvia - A Film by Tzeli Hadjidimitriou. Spread the word and come to watch the amazing story of our le***an community in Eressos and join the discussion about the past and the future of the place we feel as our home!

Dear friends in Germany, spread the word!
Lesvia - A Film by Tzeli Hadjidimitriou, will be screened at Hamburg International Q***r film festival, the biggest q***r festival in Germany, on Sunday 20/10. I will be present for a Q&A as well as at the P**n film festival in Berlin on Wednesday 23/10.

Hamburg International Q***r film festival is part of the Q***r Scope group of festivals in Germany and German speaking countries. Next screenings of Q***r Scope are:

I know it must be boring for most of you, but Lesvia - A Film by Tzeli Hadjidimitriou won three more awards in the States!!! To win the jury award in North Carolina, it is something!

Ενώ λοιπόν εγώ ατενίζω τη θάλασσα αποχαιρετώντας την πριν αρχίσω τη περιοδεία μου στην Ευρώπη, έρχεται αυτό το υπέροχο μήνυμα για ένα ακόμα βραβείο που η Lesvia - A Film by Tzeli Hadjidimitriou μας έφερε σπίτι.

Εν τω μεταξύ, προχθές παίχτηκε στο Seatle, σήμερα στη Μολδαβία, φέρνοντας την ιστορία μας σε όλα τα μήκη και πλάτη, για να πάρουν κουράγιο όλα τα διαφορετικά άτομα που δεν χωράμε σ' αυτή τη κοινωνία.

The 10th edition of Q***r Porto - International Q***r Film Festival just wrapped up, and we are very happy to announce that LESVIA was awarded a Special Mention in the Official Competition!

It was just announced in our Closing Night Ceremony, and we are very happy with this award.

The jury, Claire Sivier (Researcher, Producer), Laetitia Morais (Artist, Educator), Paulo Silva (Producer) and Tiago Aires Lêdo (Artist, Performer), wrote the following statement:

“We consider the film an historically relevant document, almost oniric, of an island and its encounter with the le***an community”.
