🚀Συμμετέχουμε ως υποστηρικτές στο Apps4Athens Hackathon 2.0: AI Edition, τον Μαραθώνιο Καινοτομίας του Δήμου Αθηναίων. Ο Μαραθώνιος φιλοδοξεί να αποτελέσει έναν δυναμικό περιβάλλον δημιουργίας και συνεργασίας, όπου οι συμμετέχοντες θα αναπτύξουν έξυπνες λύσεις που βελτιώνουν την καθημερινότητα των πολιτών και ενισχύουν την ανθεκτικότητα και τη βιωσιμότητα της Αθήνας.

Sofia Corradi imagined a Europe where studying or training in another country could change lives and bring people closer.

This idea, shared with passionate academics and students, helped shape what became the Erasmus programme.

What began as a collective vision is now a reality for millions. More than 16 million Europeans have already learned, grown and discovered new perspectives through Erasmus+.

Learning across borders is now part of what it means to be European. We want every young person to have that chance: from schools to universities, from vocational learners to apprentices. Erasmus+ should be for everyone.

We honour Sofia Corradi by continuing the work she helped inspire: investing in people, in education and in the values that unite us.

This shared vision changed Europe. Now it’s our turn to carry it forward.

✨ The “Y-ARTS” Erasmus+ youth exchange took place in Guastalla, Emilia-Romagna, Italy 🇮🇹, hosted by Teatro Sociale Gualtieri 🇮🇹, from 14–23 July 2025.
🎭 Bringing together 26 young people from Italy 🇮🇹, France 🇫🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, and Greece 🇬🇷, the project explored how the performing arts can serve as powerful tools for active citizenship, social inclusion, and community transformation.
🌍 Born from the international network YPAL – Young Performing Arts Lovers, the exchange highlighted the unique role of creativity in building stronger, more connected communities.

✨ Let's talk about the “Mental(ART) WORKER” Erasmus+ youth exchange in Avis, Portugal 🇵🇹, hosted by .ngo !

🎨 During the project, participants explored how art can promote mental health, foster personal development, and strengthen communities. Through creative workshops and inspiring exchanges, they discovered the power of self-expression and collaboration.

“Their Homes Are Taken, Their Future Not – Pt. III” marked the powerful conclusion of the Horizons for Youth Erasmus+ trilogy, a long-term initiative recognised as an Erasmus+ Best Practice exploring different layers of social exclusion in Europe.

In this final chapter, participants from across Europe came together in collaboration with the Correctional Institution of Trikala to:
🌍 Promote social inclusion and equality
🤝 Share tools and practices for reintegration
🏛️ Engage directly with prison educators and experts
💬 Foster critical dialogue on second chances and breaking the cycle of stigma

Participants from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Spain, and Greece joined forces to exchange best practices and build bridges of understanding across borders.
This program embodied the spirit of solidarity, European cooperation, and human dignity. Because even when homes are taken, futures must not be.
