ARCH proudly presents “Celebration? Realife Revisited. 1972-2000”, 1972-2000, the seminal work by Marc Camille Chaimowicz, that marked a decisive shift in early 1970s art from object-based practice toward immersive, lived environments. Emerging in the aftermath of the social upheavals of the late 1960s, the work reflects a broader cultural shift—one that sought to merge art with everyday life and to rethink how meaning is produced collectively rather than imposed.

Konstantinos Giotis (b. 1988, Greece), lives and works in Athens.

The edition is based on a drawing made several years ago — forgotten, then rediscovered last summer among folders of notes and printed material, where it went on to influence a number of works, including a painting shown at ARCH.

It presents itself as a playful, colorful abstraction of a landscape with a moon reflected in the lower section, painted in a quick, reactive way. Disappointment often allows for contradictory and surprising results. The web simultaneously erases and gives rhythm to the composition — an omnipresent symbol, a trope. It has a lot to do with negation and the idea of representation.

There is something performative in the production of painting and drawing. It is necessary to take different approaches, different personas, in order to examine different scenarios. Not research, but experiment through randomness and desire

ARCH is pleased to announce the exhibition The Slightest of Breezes by Konstantinos Giotis.

Konstantinos Giotis (b. 1988) lives and works in Athens, Greece. He works across painting and drawing, from intimate studies to large-scale compositions. Often referencing popular culture, art history, and autobiographical elements, his work explores representation, abstraction, and ambiguity as means of constructing a contemporary imaginary. His scenes are inhabited by ghostly presences and figures that move fluidly in and out of focus, evoking moments of transition and transformation. Developed over long periods through successive layers of paint and transparencies, the works unfold as acts of concealment and revelation, weaving together emotional, temporal, and conceptual connections..
