⚽🌈 Fair Play for All

Την Τετάρτη 2 Σεπτεμβρίου, στις 18:30, σας περιμένουμε όλες και όλους στην παράστασή μας «Fair Play for All».

Δεν θα είναι όμως μια συνηθισμένη παράσταση… 🎭 Θα είναι μια παράσταση Θεάτρου Forum με θέμα το fair play στο ποδόσφαιρο.

💬 Αν θέλετε να συζητήσουμε και να αναζητήσουμε μαζί τρόπους να διεκδικήσουμε το ποδόσφαιρο που θέλουμε, χωρίς διακρίσεις και βία, σας περιμένουμε στο γηπεδάκι μας στα Κάτω Πατήσια, στη συμβολή των οδών Σαμαρά και Καμπούρογλου.

Η δράση υλοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος VEIL-CORPS.

Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος VEIL-CORPS: Fair Play for All, η SCI Hellas διοργανώνει δύο πρωινά γεμάτα αθλητικές δραστηριότητες, παιχνίδια, συνεργασία και διασκέδαση για όλα τα παιδιά!

Μέσα από παιχνίδια και πολλές δραστηριότητες, τα παιδιά θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν νέους φίλους, και να έρθουν σε επαφή με τις αξίες της συμπερίληψης, του σεβασμού και του ευ αγωνίζεσθαι.

As part of the VEIL-CORPS: Fair Play for All project, SCI Hellas is organizing two mornings full of sports, games, teamwork, and fun for children!

Through games and sports activities , children will have the opportunity to meet new friends, strengthen their cooperation skills, and experience the values of inclusion, respect, and fair play.

This year marks 80 years since the end of World War II, a conflict that caused immense human suffering and left lasting scars on societies, communities, and the environment.

Eighty years later, peace cannot be taken for granted. Around the world, wars and armed conflicts continue to affect millions of people and ecosystems, reminding us that building a more peaceful future remains a collective responsibility.

💭 What does peace mean to you?

SCI Hellas invites you to join the international online workcamp “This is Peace to Me”, a digital journey exploring the connections between war, the environment, and peaceful coexistence.

What does peace mean to you?

SCI Hellas is looking for participants to join the international online workcamp “This is Peace to Me”, a digital journey exploring the connections between war, the environment, and peaceful coexistence.

SCI Hellas participates in the Peace Activism Campaign of SCI International, highlighting the power of nonviolence through art and performance art.

💭 What remains when the violence is over?

Marina Abramović explores this question through “Balkan Baroque”, a performance created in 1997 in response to the wars in Yugoslavia.

For four days, Abramović sat on top of a huge pile of animal bones and attempted to clean them while singing traditional Yugoslavian and mourning songs. This monotonous and exhausting work represents the impossibility of washing away the blood and sins of war.

📚 A few interesting facts:
• Balkan Baroque was presented at the Venice Biennale in 1997, where Abramović was awarded the Golden Lion for Best Artist.
• Abramović used more than 1,500 animal bones, cleaning them for hours and connecting this physical act with the painful reality of war.
• The title refers both to the Balkan region and to “baroque,” creating a striking contrast between aesthetics and violence.

Η SCI Hellas συμμετέχει στην καμπάνια Peace Activism Campaign της SCI International, αναδεικνύοντας τη δύναμη της μη βίας μέσα από την τέχνη και την performance art.

💭 Τι μένει πίσω όταν η βία τελειώνει;

Η Marina Abramović εξερευνά αυτά τα ερωτήματα μέσα από το έργο «Balkan Baroque», μια performance που δημιουργήθηκε το 1997, ως απάντηση στους πολέμους στη Γιουγκοσλαβία.

Για τέσσερις ημέρες, η Abramović καθόταν πάνω σε έναν τεράστιο σωρό από οστά ζώων και προσπαθούσε να τα καθαρίσει, ενώ τραγουδούσε παραδοσιακά γιουγκοσλαβικά και νεκρικά τραγούδια. Αυτή η μονότονη και εξαντλητική πράξη συμβολίζει την αδυναμία να ξεπλυθούν το αίμα και οι αμαρτίες του πολέμου.

📚 A few interesting facts:
• Το Balkan Baroque παρουσιάστηκε στη Biennale της Βενετίας το 1997 και τιμήθηκε με τον Χρυσό Λέοντα για την καλύτερη καλλιτέχνιδα.
• Η Abramović χρησιμοποίησε περισσότερα από 1.500 οστά ζώων, τα οποία καθάριζε για ώρες, συνδέοντας τη σωματική πράξη με την οδυνηρή πραγματικότητα του πολέμου.

The experiences of our volunteers are at the heart of our programmes. 💙

Konstantina took part in the Estiu a la Plaça project in Badalona, Spain, as part of VEIL-CORPS, and shares a few words about her journey with us:

“The weeks I spent in Badalona, specifically in the Estiu a la Plaça programme, were incredible. I met many different and interesting people and explored a completely different and authentic side of Catalonia. I felt that I was truly contributing to a greater purpose while also enjoying every moment of it. It was a unique experience, and I am very grateful for the opportunity I was given to live it.”
