What changes when you really pay attention? 👀

In October 2024, we focused on Awareness: noticing where you are, who’s around you, and how you move through space on a board.

🛹 7 sessions, 45 skaters, 19 of them female and non-male.
Starting with warm-ups to focus minds and bodies, and continuing with exploring different obstacle courses, to free skating and trick tip sharing.

During these sessions, we explored:
• Spatial awareness: reading the space and moving with others to avoid collisions
• Self-awareness: feeling our balance, body, confidence, emotions
• Social awareness: signaling, taking turns, offering support and feedback

✨ The vibe? Thoughtful and collaborative. It reminded us that skateboarding isn’t just about the tricks or the style. It’s about being present, making choices and building connections.

🫂 Big thanks to for sharing the Edu-Skate Curriculum and for helping us turn skating into a mindful, empowering experience in Athens.

Το Σάββατο 4 Οκτώβρη ελάτε να κάνετε skate μαζί μας από τις 12:00 μεχρι τις 14:00 στο πρώτο πλωτό Μουσείο και φεστιβάλ στην πύλη Ε8 στο λιμάνι του Πειραιά!

Απο σήμερα έως τις 12 Οκτωβρίου, ζήστε 10 ημέρες τέχνης και πολιτισμού με συναρπαστικές εμπειρίες στο πρώτο πλωτό μουσείο στον κόσμο και απολαύστε ένα πλούσιο πρόγραμμα με δράσεις χορού, μουσικής, κινηματογράφου και ομιλιών, με ένα πρόγραμμα εργαστηρίων για το κοινό για όλες τις ηλικίες απο την ομάδα του !

What happens when you believe you can? ✨

🛹 September 2024 marked the kick-off of our Edu-Skate sessions 2024 in Athens – spaces to skate, grow, and build community together.

🤝 With ’s Edu-Skate Curriculum, skateboarding becomes more than tricks: it’s about confidence, encouragement, and resilience! Lesson themes like believing in yourself and getting back up after falling turn every push into life-skills.

The theme? Positive Mental Attitude. 📚

3 sessions, 25 participants, 9 female/non-male skaters.
We started with warm-ups to get bodies moving and minds focused, then jumped into personal challenges: beginners taking their first pushes or riding down small ramps, and more experienced skaters trying ollies, kickturns, and carving new lines. 🛹

The vibe? Courageous, joyful, and full of “I tried!” moments. These sessions showed us that skateboarding isn’t just about tricks. It’s about building confidence, trust, and connection.

Big thanks to Concrete Jungle Foundation for sharing the Edu-Skate Curriculum and making it possible to bring it to life here in Athens. 🙏
