ΕΣΗΜΕΤ – Ένωση Παραγωγών Αυθεντικών Προϊόντων επώνυμης μάρκας που σκοπό έχει την καταπολέμηση των απομιμητικών προϊόντων - υπηρεσιών και την προστασία των καταναλωτών καθώς επίσης και την προάσπιση και ανάπτυξη της εμπορικής τους επωνυμίας.
Η ΕΣΗΜΕΤ είναι η μόνη και καθ’ ύλην αρμόδια ένωση για την προάσπιση των δικαιωμάτων των παραγωγών αυθεντικών προϊόντων δηλαδή των νόμιμων δικαιούχων σημάτων,
εμπορικών σχεδίων, όταν αυτά κατοχυρώνονται καθότι τα εμπορικά σήματα, βιομηχανικά σχέδια είναι ιδιωτικά περιουσιακά στοιχεία. Για αυτό τον λόγο και σε κάθε Ευρωπαϊκή χώρα και μη, υπάρχουν οι αντίστοιχες ενώσεις προκειμένου τα δικαιώματα των παραγωγών να εκπροσωπούνται όπως πρέπει.
Μέλη της είναι εταιρίες που ανήκουν στον κλάδο της μόδας, της αυτοκινητοβιομηχανίας, του αθλητισμού, της δισκογραφίας, της φαρμακοβιομηχανίας, της ναυτιλίας, των τροφίμων αλλά και της βιομηχανίας γενικότερα, καθώς επίσης Δήμοι αλλά και άλλες ενώσεις.

ESIMET is established with the scope to promote and for all the right holders whose products are being counterfeited international protection of their intellectual property against counterfeiting. The Brand Owners Association is the first and unique Association in Greece, which is established to act also as a unique point if reference for both foreign and domestic Trademark Companies in order for the authorities to be properly informed about the representation of the Brands in the Greek territory and as a consulting center for TM and DM rights for the purposes of building a solid anti-counterfeiting strategy and providing
- efficient,
- practical and
- innovative solutions
against counterfeit trade and its damaging effect to the Greek Economy and the brands’ commercial image and reputation.
The Brand Owners Association will contribute, with its know-how and dynamic experience, in collaboration with the Greek anti-counterfeit Authorities and the Trademark Companies, to the efficient fight against counterfeit trade. The Association prides itself in being the only organization to successfully coordinate the process of combating counterfeiting and enabling the trademark proprietors to take full control of their registered rights, with the valuable support of the key Governmental Authorities, as well as private entities and is currently negotiating further partnerships with governmental and private entities, for the purposes of involving in its mission all relevant leading players.
