This year, Imagine Heritage Non-Profit had the pleasure of joining Επέκεινα Χώρα / The Land beyond in the organisation of Vikos Crossing 2026 — “The ”, taking place in Zagori.
For 17 years, Vikos Crossing has brought together landscape, movement, culture, learning and meaningful human connection.
This year’s theme, “The Passage,” invited us to look beyond the trail itself — towards the passages that connect places, people, memory and imagination.
Across the unique natural and cultural landscape of and Zagori, every step became an opportunity to pause, reflect and discover.

✨We’re proud to announce that Imagine Heritage NGO is part of VORPARK FABRIC,1–2 August 2026 at Queen Maria Park, ! 🇷🇴

Organised as part of the Heritage of Timisoara project for Timișoara City Celebration 2026, this two-day event celebrates the historic Fabric district — its memory, its transformation, and its future — through guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, concerts, and the ceremonial reinstatement of the EIAR (Spring) sculpture on Karl Kunz Palace.

The “MindSpark Room – A Living Laboratory for Cultural Heritage, Creativity and Community Engagement” workshop will be led by Imagine Heritage.

Grateful to stand alongside an incredible community of partners: Prin Banat Association, Visit Timișoara, Timișoara Jazz Festival, National Museum of Banat, Arhabito, the Romanian Order of Architects, Cărturești, Tur de Arhitectură, FAINA UA, Oradea Heritage, West University of Timișoara, and more — funded by the Municipality of Timișoara.

Beyond Borders: Building More Inclusive Spaces for Young People
“Beyond Borders” was an + Youth Workers Training Course that took place in São João do Estoril, Portugal, from 7 to 14 December 2025.

Hosted at Impact Beach House and organised by ImpacTrip , the project brought together youth workers, educators, and practitioners committed to fostering inclusion in increasingly diverse communities.

Imagine Heritage is excited to share one of the key outcomes of this project: the “Beyond Borders” Digital Toolkit 📘

Designed for youth workers, educators, facilitators, and community practitioners, this resource supports the creation of inclusive, participatory, and safe learning environments, especially in multicultural contexts.
The toolkit gathers activities that were tested, refined, and systematised during the training, offering practical methodologies in a structured and adaptable format.

🤝 The project brought together participants and partner organisations from Portugal, France, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Egypt, and Estonia, and was facilitated by Mostafa Ahmed and Efsevia Ioannidou. The toolkit reflects the collective contribution, learning, and energy of everyone involved.

We are excited to announce the international conference “Byzantium & Florence: Dialogue Beyond Times,” co-organised in collaboration with the ISI Florence and the Imagine Heritage.

Taking place in Florence on 20–21 October 2026, at Palazzo Ruccelai and Palazzo Bargagli, the conference will bring together an outstanding international community of scholars to examine the enduring dialogue between the Byzantine and Florentine worlds.

Through the perspectives of history, philosophy, theology, art, diplomacy, literature, and manuscript culture, the programme explores the profound influence of Byzantium on the intellectual and cultural formation of Renaissance Florence and, more broadly, on European civilisation.

The conference reflects a shared commitment to promoting rigorous scholarship and fostering international academic cooperation in the study of our common cultural heritage.

Tracing the intellectual and spiritual roots of Personalism through figures such as Alexander Marc, Arnaud Dandieu,Jacques Maritain, and especially Bernard Charboneau, Christian Roy examines how this rich tradition sought to defend human dignity, freedom, community, and moral responsibility against both collectivist and individualist extremes.

Η 17η Διάβαση Βίκου θα είναι μια πρόσκληση της Επέκεινα Χώρα / The Land beyond σε συνεργασία με την Imagine Heritage Non-Profit, να αφεθούμε να νιώσουμε τη δύναμη του περάσματος. Στόχος μας είναι η διάβαση ενός μοναδικού φυσικού και πολιτιστικού τοπίου και η εμπειρία της ίδιας της πορείας, όπου το φυσικό, το πνευματικό, το πεζοπορικό, το λογοτεχνικό και το φιλοσοφικό, συνυφαίνονται σε μια ενιαία ανακάλυψη. Στο επίκεντρο της διοργάνωσης βρίσκεται η έννοια του «περάσματος», τόσο ως βιωματική περιήγηση σε ένα μοναδικό φυσικό τοπίο όσο και ως εσωτερική διεργασία αναζήτησης και μετασχηματισμού. Το πρόγραμμα πλαισιώνεται από στοχευμένες παρεμβάσεις, όπως η ομιλία του Ραϋμόνδου Αλβανού με τίτλο «Πέρασμα: από τον διχασμό στην κοινή μνήμη», καθώς και η προβολή της ταινίας «Και Ελ και Αλ» του Δημήτρη Χριστόπουλου, η οποία ανοίγει έναν διάλογο γύρω από την ταυτότητα και τη συλλογική εμπειρία.
