📣 Call for Papers: ICDAAI 2027 🌱🤖​

We’re proud to support the inaugural International Conference on Digital Agriculture and Artificial Intelligence (ICDAAI 2027), organised by the Agricultural University of Athens in the context of the TALLHEDA project.​

🗓️ 12-16 April 2027​

ICDAAI brings together researchers, industry, policymakers and students working where digital agriculture meets AI. The 12 tracks cover:​
✔️ AI, generative AI and foundation models​
✔️ Precision agriculture, IoT and remote sensing​

✔️ Data spaces and FAIR data​
✔️ Decision support, AKIS and advisory services​

📚 Accepted papers will be published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS), with selected papers invited to extended journal special issues.​

Last week, Athens hosted the Agri Innovation Expo 2026, organised by the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) and Smart Agro Hub (SAH)! 🎉​

The two-day exhibition, which began on 24 September, was dedicated to research, innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer in the agri-food sector. 🌾💡​

🌱 TALLHEDA Summer School 2026 — done and dusted!​

From September 15 to 18, 2026, the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Agriculture hosted the TALLHEDA Summer School — four packed days of lectures, field visits, lab tours, and networking that brought together students, researchers, and practitioners at the cutting edge of digital
agriculture. 🇷🇸​

Here is a glimpse of what our participants experienced:​

🗓 Day 1 — UNSFA | Lectures & Science​

From climate change-induced ecosystem shifts and remote pesticide monitoring, to drone autopilot navigation, satellite-AI soil assessment, variable rate fertilisation, UAV remote sensing, and computer vision for insect counting — a full day of world-class agricultural science.​

🗓 Day 2 — TERRA Facilities | Industry Meets Research​

A visit to TERRA's facilities, followed by digital agriculture presentations from UNSFA and FSH — bridging research excellence with real-world innovation.​

🗓 Day 3 — Biosense Institute & Institute for AI Research and Development of Serbia​

Visits to two of Serbia's leading AI and data science research centres, including presentations on Green AI, Visual Computing, and the future of AI in agriculture. Topped off with a social dinner! 🍽️​

🗓 Day 4 — LoginEKO | Precision Agriculture at Scale​

A full-dayof presentations fromone of Serbia's most innovative agricultural enterprises — seeing digital agriculture in action at field scale.​

This is what TALLHEDA's alliance looks like in practice: knowledge crossing borders, students learning from the best, and digital agriculture coming to life beyond the classroom. 🙏​

Today, September 15th, University of Novi Sad – Faculty of Agriculture hosted students and personnel from Agricultural University of Athens AUA OFC, REZOS BRANDS SA and Smart Agro Hub for the first day of an exciting week dedicated to digital transformation in agriculture.​

Day 1 features an outstanding lineup of talks from Serbian partners, covering:​
