Lesvos Plant Medicine Conference Center Library

Lesvos Plant Medicine Conference Center Library The page updates the journey to build LPMCCL. I am not good at social meida. I appologise. The shift has a major gain in one are but another area becomes weaker.

It is for this very reason I founded LPMCCL -- to create a digital library on plant medicine. LPMCCL story

Jerome Poynton moved to Lesvos at the end of 2014 and the Lesvos Plant Medicine Conference Center Library began shortly thereafter. LPMCCL is committed to working with plant medicine farmers on Lesvos, several of

whom are advisors. Presently LPMCCL has organic plant medicine groves in three habitats -- ocean, mountain and river -- in the area of the library property in Vassilika, Vrisa and Vatera. In 2015 the Athen campus of LPMCCL was established along with Huncke Tea Company, HTC-31 and the Plant Medicine Growers Society. These informal entities have been working with non-profits and NGOs on Lesvos regarding the refugee crisis and advised on the creation of the first library for refugees inside the camp on Lesvos. The library mission is strongly biased to small farm growers who also grow olive trees. For too long the farmers have been receiving the short-end of the stick economics, with little assistance. Generational farmers on Lesvos are an international resource for plant medicine farming. LPMCCL’s mission is to enable and integrate small farmers into the plant medicine market they have been excluded from to date. The philosophy of LPMCCL is access to the digital strengths of a library with on site plant research and testing capabilities, devoted to plant medicines growing under foot on Lesvos, will improve the farmer’s economic leverage. LPMCCL has designed but not installed individual fencing for cannabis plants, which can be installed in groves, protecting them from sheep and other animals, while testing the benefits of a unique, niche market, LPMCCL branded cannabis oil infused olive oil, with Lesvos farmer credit; bringing the farmer closer to the patient. Secondly, with farmer credit clearly stated on bottles, particular plant medicine groves under different situations (the library mountain, river and ocean plant medicine groves.) Even with three habitats, there are more variables in play in the growing and harvesting of plant medicine. There are numerous plant medicine experts on Lesvos -- many of them making world-class product with only a local market. Part of the mision is to promote such growers, olive oil makers, Lesvos based producers and service providers. LPMCCL is committed to collaboration with plant medicine growers and service providors. As the recent green revolution has demonstrated -- the green revolution has succeeded with political, medical and academic obstruction. LPMCCL is committed to creating a strong Lesvos brand, with multi-generational farmers, who know the landscape and have a wealth of information. Collectively, these farmers can create a market on the research they do with LPMCCL guidance. Lesvos is a relatively unspoiled island landscape of Homeric proportions. It is populated with 11 million olive trees, and those who care for them. During any paradigm shift, as is happening now in information science from analogue to digital -- there is always something from the old technology that stays and parts that are left behind. LPMCCL will be a digital library, devoted to plant medicine, as digitally advanced as licensed libraries, with staff to support farmers interested in monetizing their olive groves. Some groves may be better for Medical plants and other farms more suitable for Textile and Construction materials (in regard to h**p.) The relatively unspoiled 19th Century Lesvos landscape can work to protect this landscape -- just the way it is -- with 21st Century Lesvos farmers. It is in their economic interest to protect and ethical harvest plant medicine groves.
